These shelves are amazing! They are solid wood, and the pipes feel like aluminum that is painted. Really easy to assemble and mount on the wall. One of my shelves was missing some pieces, but I contacted the seller and they made it right almost overnight so I could keep going with my project! Very pleased and I highly recommend these shelves! I also am grateful their 3-tier matches the 6-tier, so it worked perfectly for my project!

Perfect in every way!
Love this bookshelf! Shelves are sturdy, but was not comfortable using the basic wall anchors that came with bookshelf so we went with toggle bolt anchors into the wall for more support. Bookshelf fit perfectly into the designated space and compliments the modern farmhouse theme. Pieces came intact and edges were not damaged. Pretty pleased with this purchase.

Black Pipe is painted steel, not cast iron
The piping isn’t iron, it’s that plain steel and they’ve put a cheap and thin coat of flat black spray paint. The paint job is good, no drips or anything.Some of the pieces come already put together and painted so there are some silver gaps when adjusting shelves to be level.Putting together initially it was very hard to get level, it was very wobbly, and didn’t inspire any confidence. I pulled everything apart and teflon taped all of the connections to make them feel a little more solid.To get this level you kind of have to put some care into it and start from the bottom and slowly put it together on the way up making adjustments as you go.Overall, it looks great despite the cheap paint. The shelves themselves feel fake, but they look great. Once put together and properly mounted to the walls it is pretty solid, but there is wiggle room. If I didn’t care about having perfectly level shelves I might be able to have it be a little more sturdy.For the cost I’m not really upset, but calling this “iron” is wrong and misleading.
