An essential part of any non permanent smart home
These switches are so simple but I’ve not found anything quite like them, they pair instantly to home assistant and they just work. I can’t speak to the usability of the official app, but with HA they give you plenty of control options for automations or accessories. The buttons are quiet and not very tactile but they do make a pleasant click sound and it doesn’t feel cheap, my only complaint would be the magnets that hold the switch into the wall plate are a bit weak, and while it won’t fall out, it does slide around a bit within the fixture. I bought one of these a while ago and when I had use for another wireless switch I came right back because I’ve been entirely satisfied.

Very cheap feeling
It works as expected but the click feels very cheap quality. The whole thing mounted on the wall is just cheap. The idea is great but it’s low quality.Update : Seller was willing to refund the price of the product due to my thoughts of their product. Customer service moves to 4 stars.

Wonderful, and sounds like a computer mouse!
Was looking for a better way to control my Home Assistant devices, this is is it, the functionality is pretty seamless, and is compatible with my zigbee adaptor and homeassistant. Looks like a small remote with the click of a computer mouse, quite satisfying to me. I’ve only had it for 2 weeks, but this is wonderful. Im thinking about buying another!

Awesome for guests in a smart home
I am loving this button for light control! I am a long time user of smart home devices, and this one makes it easier for my guests (AKA older parents) when they are staying at my house. All they have to do is hit a button, and the lights will come on or off so they don’t have to use Alexa and remember what names I have for all the light groups to control them by voice. The remote that stores in the wall mountable face plate is easily removed for them to bring to wherever they want to put it for easy access when they need it. I used my label maker to tell them which button controls what lights, and put them on each button for easy use. The only downfall is that you can only pair the buttons with light bulbs that are controlled by the SmartLife app. I am currently switching out the bulbs in rooms I want controlled with this button with ones that work with both SmartLife and Alexa voice control, and have had a couple hiccups getting both to be compatible, but that is no fault of this button switch-it seems to be the easy part of this configuration. A+ for this item from me!

Not SmartThings compatable!
I like the design, I wish it were matter/thread so it would work. Also I wish I had seen this review earlier, it is EXACTLY my experiance:Non-Standard Zigbee Protocol, Not working with SmartThingsReviewed in the United States on July 18, 2025Verified PurchaseThe button itself is locked down to its own Tuya-related ecosystem. It won’t work with any hubs outside from it.The button itself also feels very cheaply made.

Be sure you’re comfortable writing templates and automations with Home Assistant.
The device work really well once you get it up and running. I’m taking off a star because while it is technically zigbee, you need to use the tuya hub to easily configure the buttons. If you’re using something like Home Assistant, the buttons do not operate independently or as directly configurable devices – you need to create multiple automations and use templates to set the buttons to various functions.

Great remote that’s easy to setup at a fair price.
This is perfect with one MINOR exception. I wish the backing plate was the standard depth of a normal wall switch. This sticks out about 3/8″ vs the typical 1/8″ for no good reason other than the choice of a thicker magnet to retain the remote. This could easily be designed better but the switch itself is perfect. Great Zigbee range, nice feel to the buttons, the buttons themselves are larger than most making hitting them easier. Easy setup and programming using Hubitat as the hub. I’ll be buying more fo sho!
