I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and sturdy this turquoise melamine dinnerware set turned out to be. Perfect for daily family meals or outdoor gatherings.Each piece feels well-balanced and comfortable to hold, and even after multiple dishwasher cycles, the colors remain vibrant with no visible wear. Just note that it’s not microwave-safe, which is common for melamine. Pretty and durable!
I had been looking for an affordable, durable dinnerware set when I stumbled across this one and I’m so happy I did! The pattern is lovely and reminds me of weathered copper. The aqua is a soft shade and not as deep/vibrant as it is in the product pictures, which I actually like better. The size of the plates are perfect- we use the smaller one for sandwiches and the larger ones for full meals. The bowls are perfect for soup, cereal or ice cream. It does say that they are not meant to be used in the microwave, so we can’t speak to that. But they are beautiful and don’t break when dropped and just what we were looking for.

More dull than pictured
The picture makes it look like a vibrant, ceramic plate, but in reality the colors are a bit more dull and the dishware is a bit too reflective, making it look more like plastic instead.The size of the plates is suffficient for regular dining, but if you are looking to serve more fine dining with lots of negative (empty) space on the plate, I think you will want some slightly bigger plates.Also, as others mentioned, do not microwave these plates with food on them, as that is known to cause the chemicals to leech into your food. Similarly, you should avoid putting them in the dishwasher on high heat, as that can cause them to break down.

Inexpensive melamine dish set
When the package arrived it was a bit damaged, so I was expecting the worst. Thankfully, as I unboxed everything, it was all in tact. My first impression was that this set is a well made, lightweight, durable dish set. The colors are consistent throughout with a nice elegant design. Cleaning is super easy in that they can go in the dishwasher. One thing to note, there is a warning stating they CAN NOT be microwaved. That said, this is a decent set at a good value. Perfect for an RV, dorm room, or just an everyday use set.

Look Good, Durable But Not Microwavable
Durable, lightweight and good quality! Love the shape, color and design. Like that they are hard to break which is great for my household. Look is classy and plates are functional. I took off one star due to the fact that I can’t put them in the microwave.

Quality Melamine Dinnerware Set — Durable & Reasonably Priced
I received this set quickly and was immediately impressed when I started unpacking each piece in the set. Good weight (not flimsy at all); no damage/chips/etc to any of the items & appearance was consistent for the entire set. To note, the set is BPA free and dishwasher safe — they are NOT microwave safe. That wouldn’t be a deal breaker for me especially as I’ve frequently come across melamine dinnerware that isn’t microwave safe, and I usually heat food on cheap paper plates, etc then plate it on something sturdier like melamine dinnerware.Bottom line — I’d purchase this set and wish I’d come across it a few weeks ago when I was in the process of moving and wanted an inexpensive dinnerware set until I unboxed my everyday plates, bowls, etc. The quality of this set (for only $10 or so more than the one I purchased) makes it a solid purchase for the price and overall quality of the set/items.
