New Smart Bulbs
These replace my old smart bulbs. They are much more responsive and shut completely off every time. You Alexa users know what I am talking about.

Save your money
Can’t say I recommend these lights or this brand. Bought these lights and had them working for some months without issue and then then one went out, it would turn on as far as being dim like a faint candle. So I bought another pack but just a slightly newer revision. Every light started going dim one by one over the next half year or so. Of note is that I had these paired with a motion sensor to turn them off and on in a room that gets minimal use throughout the day so these lights were not even heavily used. Ive since replaced with Philips hue as I’ve never had one of those go out. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money on this brand, they are cheaper for a reason.

Half of these are flickering after a year
For how expensive these were the fact that they last as long as the cheap chinese products is crazy. I would look elsewhere for zigbee bulb like this style

Works well on a Raspberry Pi 4 with Home Assistant, Mosquitto, Zigbee2MQTT, and a SONOFF USB Dongle
Using the Sengled Edison bulbs to replace some non smart ones in hoods overhanging the bar I work at. The bulbs they replaced wore never brighten enough when we turned them on at full brightness during “last call”. These Sengled Edison bulbs are extremely bright. Blindingly bright, that we only turn them up to 80% at last call. They don’t get as dim as the old bulbs though. We can live with that. Seemingly no noticeable difference between 1% to about 20% brightness. Only thing I really don’t like about them is they are not Zigbee repeaters. In my scenario they are the bulbs nearest to the Zigbee hub so not a deal breaker, but it would be a nice feature. For the price though they are worth it, and they where the only 120v Zigbee bulbs I could find that looked identical to the bulbs I replaced. Tuya makes an identical looking bulb that is also a repeater, but it is only available in 220v. Not really a viable option for US residents. Hopefully these Sengled Edison bulbs will continue performing as well as they do now.

Wow these suck!
They go offline all the time and need resetting. I bought the hub and that doesn’t help at all. They super suck and of course I bought them for the whole house. What a joke and HUGE waste of money!

Nice bulb, backed by horrible tech
Can be added to a Hue hub, which we use for all our other lights and some smart switches. Added that way we can turn on these lights and change the brightness (even with the run less wires smart switches), but there’s NO WAY TO TURN THEM OFF. I would have added the app, but I can’t sign up for an account: it says it’s emailing me a code that’s good for 2 hours, but the email doesn’t come until hours later. So I can’t add them to hue, I can’t control them through the app, why do these exist?

Started failing after 3 months
I purchased 12 of these bulbs. The first 6 in March and another 6 in April. So far I’ve had two bulbs fail. The failing bulbs begin to flicker. I’ve tried resetting them, removing/adding them to the hub and leaving them disconnected for a week. They are passed the return window date. 2 bulbs out of 12 failing within 3 months of purchase is unacceptable. They are on a standard non-dimming switch. I’m considering purchasing a different brand of bulb. *UPDATE* 5 of the original 12 bulbs are no longer working. 3 of them have 2 of the 4 LED strips no longer lighting.

Great style
The style is great, energy efficient, however using a ZigBee hub and controlling them with it you can’t turn them off. It works in my application because they are kept at 1% at night instead of a nightlight in the bathroom. Anywhere else it would defeat the purpose of a smart bulb if you can’t turn them off.

It’s been a few years since I bought this and other sengled products. Recently there was an outage and all my lights are not responding so I have to turn it on and off manually. I thought it was my hub or internet acting up but I ended up on a reddit post that everyone was complaining and everyone can’t use or login to their app.
