Quick installation, love the solar power and remote!!!
These were simple to install and they block out all the light. They fit in the window perfectly using the measurement guide in the instructions. I love the solar panel, because the window we have them on is high and it would be difficult to change batteries if the solar function wasn’t available. The price was the best I could find for the quality and ease of use. They function well so far, we have had them for about 2 weeks now.

Not hard to install
Once, I figured out how to install this it was easy. I do love the motorized blind as it looks great and now I can open my blind all the way. It truly is a blackout blind just a little light from the edges. The size I got fit good. As far as durability, it seems durable. My reason for 4 stars is the “ Valance” was cracked in the corner and there is a pin hole in the blind. I was not going to exchange it because I already have it installed and of course didn’t notice the pin hole until I was able to actually use it. The cracked valance I knew before I installed it but I figured no one is going to touch it once it was up and it still did its job and you can’t see it from a far. I want to get some more of these actually! It is a little slow going up and down but still worth having.

Easy to install, charging could be better
I think I’d give this more of a 4.5 stars. Install was easy enough and using the remote is great. My main issue with this item is that I had no idea if the blinds were charged or not. I wanted to try to charge it before I installed it, as I was using this for a window above my stairs. This required a ladder and I didn’t want to install the blinds if they were broken. When I first tried the remote, the blinds didn’t move. I assumed it was the battery, so I tried to plug it in to an old cell phone charger. Usually that would be enough juice for the blinds to move but nothing happened. I waited for 30 minutes, still nothing. So I tried a different charger, waited 30 more minutes, still nothing. I then just left it for 3 hours and came back to it and it was working. It’d be nice if there was a blinking light to indicate charging or anything really.After testing that it worked, install as a cinch. The solar panel was easy to place on the window and I haven’t had to try to charge it or do anything with it for months. Does a great job keeping the sun out and the remote is simple, but responsive. So overall works great, just wish I didn’t have to waste so much time figuring out if it worked or not!

Do Not Purchase One Year Later and No Shades Work
I purchased 4 of these shades for my front windows. Every single shade has stopped working. All 4 of them! I have changed the battery in the remote. I also took each shade down and connected it to a wall socket power/charger. Nothing. The shades are dead. I have researched customer services and return there is nothing available for support and/or no clear indicator on how to reach the seller.Do NOT purchase save your money and the hassle of having to look for new shades a year later. They worked well and now are useless. Very disappointed. I should also point out that I was never able to get them connected to a bridge to use with Google Home (I gave up on that possibility) so it’s plausible to say that they full functionality just isn’t there with these shades.

Not the best quality when connecting to Alexa.
I started by purchasing one along with a hub just to install and test it out. it worked pretty well so i took the plunge and ordered eight more so i could cover every window in my house. the goal was to hook every window up to Alexa so i could open/close at sunset and sunrise, im big on automating my house and this was something ive been wanting to do for a while. it should be noted that the when doing an “inside mount”, there will be a decent amount of light that comes in along the sides of the shade. thankfully, the unit itself is small enough, i was able to mount it behind my existing blinds and it looks pretty nice! however the automation and responsiveness is just not there. the hub is very cheep and though it has good range, it does not do well with multiple windows. at first when i had Alexa close all the windows, half of them would not get the signal. so i had to re-configure so there was a 5-10 second delay between each window command. one or two windows were still not receiving the signal so i actually bought a SECOND hub to split things up a bit more. as im wiring this shortly after sunrise a few weeks into use of these shades, im looking at one window that did not open. its always a different window too, there is no rhyme or reason for it. i am confident it is not user error. it might be because i have many smart devices in my house and there are just too many signals bouncing around, but that has never been an issue in the past. you definitely get what you paid for with this item. if you are able, i would go for a slightly better/more expensive model and hope it is more responsive or better quality. it should also be noted if you “crinkle” the shade at all, it is easy to puncture and the crinkles will not come out. thankfully i learned that on the tucked away corner bathroom window where i wont have to see it.

These blinds are seriously a game-changer! I love being able to control them with the remote or even just ask Alexa to open or close them. The blackout feature is perfect for sleeping in, and the solar panel means no annoying batteries to change.
