Nice remote for hard to reach switches
Took me a minute to get it to link to the remote, but after some trail and error, it worked. Tiny 12 volt battery packs a punch. It does not interfere with any other frequencies. So far it seems to be great quality for the price. I just installed this weekend and will update if I have any issues.I plugged it in to the outlet next to the garage door opener plug. Then ran a cord to the garage door for lights. Worked great!

Good quality, works great, easy install but requires 2 people to mount canopy itself.
Nice canopy, hardware easy to install but takes at least 2 people to mount the canopy toe the hardware. Works great, provide more sun protection than smaller canopies. Did not realize a piece of plastic could be that expensive. Fits fine, no vibration problems. Prefer it over many other choices. Would recommend.

Time saving set up tips…
Works well… couple things to notice: 1) the batteries used in the remotes are provided, but they’re an unusual size (12v 23a… shaped like a AAA but half the length). 2) the batteries are wrapped in plastic, which must be removed prior to installing them in the remote (I didn’t realize this right away, and wasted time thinking the unit wasn’t pairing correctly… quite frustrating!) 3) the remote sort of has to be pointing at the outlet… not a big deal, but it would be better if that wasn’t necessary. Overall, great little product that I find useful now and will probably really appreciate when setting up my Christmas tree this year!

Works as remote for my dust collector.
Bought this to plug my new dust collector to so I won’t have to walk back in forth all the time to turn it off and on. Works great. Can start it anywhere in the shop.

Simple to set up right out of the box.
Simple easy setup – battery MUST have it’s clear plastic covering removed or the remote will not work.Check that the battery polarity matches the + and – symbols on the back of the remote, or it will not work.Putting the battery in backwards may damage the remote. So double check. Batteries are unusual type. They look like half of a AA battery in length, but they are 12 volt. Amazon has a card of them as spares for less than the cost of a candy bar (today). They last supringly long, but good to buy a spare or two.I have 3 JBL 600 watt powered PA speakers (Left -subwoofer – right) controlled by one remote. Simple stage power control, where each power cord has an assigned control module. Makes stage setup a snap..

Great little plug. It doesn’t block the other outlet. The only problem I had was that the battery that was included didn’t work. It is very convenient.
