Headache –
I’d buy these bulbs again.
I’m happy with these bulbs. You’ve got to be patient if setting multiple bulbs up together, but they work as expected. Good value.

Nice smart bulb! 💡
No complaints from me about this bulb – it works great, was easy for me to set up, connected to my wifi well, and I love all the different colors it gives and how easy it is for me to change the mood in my space now. Really nice, I’m happy with it!

a decent smart bulb, flawed documentation, requires(?) WiFi despite suggestion of Bluetooth
This smart bulb seems to work as expected for the most part, letting me set it up on my WiFi using the Intermatic ABRA app for Android, then connecting to my Google Home set of devices. I was able to setup automations to turn the light on and off at the times/events I had previously done with a smart outlet of another brand. The light output looks good with a wide spectrum of color choices and brightness settings.I knock off a star because the documentation and setup isn’t up to snuff. Maybe it’s teething problems with a new product line (or an acquisition/rebranding?), but some issues:- The included setup leaflet says to go to an Intermatic website for the full user guide and setup instructions, but the given URL gives you a big “Oops. Something went wrong.” banner. Searching for “ABRA” or the model number yield nothing on that site either.- The leaflet and product listing on Amazon suggest you can set this thing up using Bluetooth, but there is nothing in the included documentation for doing so. You cannot proceed with setup in the Intermatic ABRA app unless you connect it to your WiFi, and there is no option to do anything via Bluetooth. I was thinking maybe Bluetooth might be a fallback if WiFi is down or unavailable, but with WiFi turned off, you can’t do much with the app. The device info provided by the app shows things like the device’s WiFi MAC address, but nothing for Bluetooth. So this device might not be so useful for folks looking for something that can work without WiFi and internet access (whether due to outage or as intended for a location without 24/7/365 internet access). It’s conceivable that the Bluetooth feature is available on the iOS version of the app, but I don’t intend to use this bulb with an iPhone-based control. I’ve had issues with some device control/interface apps in other areas where they had Bluetooth support on iOS, but not Android, and voice versa. I don’t know what the case is here–maybe a future firmware update to the bulb will add Bluetooth capabilities??- When the first time the automation to turn the light on around sunset fired, the light turned on in a color profile (giving off red light) rather than what I had it set for, i.e. the white profile (with a soft white color temperature). I don’t know if this was a one-time glitch after initial setup, or an issue with the Google Home integration vs the native ABRA app setup or what, but I’ll see the next time the automation runs. OK, the problem with the red color profile showing didn’t recur subsequent sunset automation firings. If the manufacturer or another consumer/reviewer could provide info on using Bluetooth to setup/control this smart bulb, that would be greatly appreciated.

App sucks
App sucks. If you have more than one bulb, it only works with ome bulb. And when the second one actually changed the color you wanted, it changes back to the ugly yellow it started with

Change the mood of the room whenever
Wow. The colors are awesome. Nice range with everything from chill blues to vibrant reds. I can just tell Alexa to change the mood whenever, which is perfect when I’m too lazy to get up.

Works fine as a regular bulb, but doesn’t seem to be compatible with Alexa 🙁
I got an Alexa a few months ago and it’s already come in so handy. I then got some Amazon bulbs (from Amazon Basics) that are compatible with Alexa so I could control the lights/settings via Alexa. Setting up the bulbs to work with my lamps and Alexa was easy and didn’t take long to set up. So, I ordered this bulb to try a different brand thinking it would work.Sadly, although the bulb seems to be decent quality and comparable to the ones that I received via Amazon Basics, it doesn’t seem to be as easy to set up to work with Alexa. The brand Intermatic does not come up as a brand that is recognized on the Alexa app. You actually have to download an entirely separate app just for this brand. I don’t want to download an entire app onto my phone in order to use ONE LIGHT BULB, but it seems without the app, I can’t use the smart features.Bulb screws in just fine and I am able to use it with my lamp with the standard on/off switch. But it’s pointless to buy a “Smart” bulb when it’s not compatible with your “Smart” devices.

Works as a power back alarm for generator
All the bulbs are pretty much the same. This one has lots of interesting colors and doesn’t require a hub to connect, which is very nice. The set up was really easy. I use my bulb to tell me when the power is back so I can shut off my generator. Since it is an intelligent bulb, I was able to set up a routine and it plays music when the the power comes back an and turns on the bulb. This was the easiest, cheapest way to set up this kind of alarm. I am extremely satisfied.

solid connectivity, good light & colors. No issues
I got this to replace a bulb from another maker that kept intermittently dropping the wifi and getting dropped from the app. If this has happened to you, it’s super annoying because not only does the light no longer respond, but it sits there flashing until you can get it sync’d back up (IF you can get it sync’d up).Anyway, very happy with this one. No connectivity issues so far. The sync process was easy. The instructions say to use some app I don’t have, but I found I could sync it no problem using Smart Life or Feit Electric (maker of the bulb I was replacing) so it’s not proprietary, which is a big plus for me. I have enough apps on my phone that I don’t trust as it is.Good, bright light; nice full colors and very responsive. Very pleased with it so far.
