Did not work
Item did not work with Chromecast on our main LG TV (I believe LG class B4). When first turned on volume would cut in and our for the first 5 minutes. If a show went to commercial, it would come back and volume would cut in and out for first few minutes. Scrolling down the homepage UI was almost impossible, one click down and it would scroll 25 clicks down. Same thing trying to go up. I tried different HDMI ports and that did not help on the LG TV. It made the Chromecast inoperable.Tried it on our bedroom TV (element TV) with Chromecast and it worked as it was supposed to so maybe our main TV was the issue above. However, in this configuration in our bedroom it would sporadically flash bright green lights every10 seconds waking us up, even tho the TV was off.The lights were cool, bright, and they were fun to watch movies and TV with when it worked. The one big issue is there is no slider control for brightness. It should have a 0-100 brightness controller and instead is has a low medium high and even at the lowest it is SO bright especially at night.

Took a chance on it with the few reviews. So far it seems to be working amazingly. It was pretty easy to install and troubleshoot. Not bad for $50

Requires a Wi-Fi connection despite physical ports
This device, despite having physical ports that it theoretically should be able to operate with, will seemingly absolutely refuse to sync or do anything other than strobe orange without using an app to provide it with an always-on Wi-Fi connection. I tried many cables of varying standards and power-cycled it many times with each cable. It forwards the HDMI signal fine, but the backlights are completely unusable. Having a Wi-Fi network available does not seem to be optional, and is a requirement for use. I do not believe this to be clearly expressed anywhere in the product description.

Audio keeps dropping
The audio signal cuts out at random times. You then have to wait 15-30 seconds for it to come back. Extremely annoying while watching a movie. I’m returning this item.

Took a chance with only one review
Purchased as a gift for my son. We installed it in only a few min, very easy. Multiple steady background themes to select from in the app. The app was easy to set up, note you have to switch to your 2.4ghz wifi.Great feature is you can select the screen area to sync to. This feature is important. While watching movies I. Wide screen format, the top and bottom of the TV screen were blank. Once we adjusted where to read the screen, the color syncing worked awesome. We don’t experience lag in syncing colors. I went back to order one for myself, but the item currently is no longer available. I hope they come back into stock!Video below shows the lights from the back.Definitely great value for the money!

No issues at all. It does what is claimed pretty well. I am using it through a HDMI switch for multiple inputs and it behaves well.
