Clear Night Vision appears like day vision, accurate alerts and easy installation security system
I am really impressed with this solar-powered 4-camera kit which has replace my old camera system without too much wiring. It provides full coverage of entire house surrounding with full color vision and crystal-clear picture quality without running too much wiring. Installation of AOSU app, set up and connecting camera was so simple and easy using the given instructions. The solar panels keep the cameras charged, and the 360° pan/tilt gives complete coverage with no blind spots. As mentioned, TrueColor night vision is a really impressive and helps in recognizing faces and details at night instead of guessing in blurry images. I compared it with my high-end android camera picture quality and got stunned that without any setting this camera takes full color pictures. The AI recognition and motion tracking seems very powerful and accurate it filters out pets, tree shadows etc. very precisely. I especially appreciate how multiple camera clips are stitched into one alert and saves unnecessary notifications. The build quality is very solid and has refined design with minute details to seal around all connections which prevents water entrapment. The in-built local storage is 32 GB and also it is good that it can be expanded up to 16TB which gives peace of mind to keep all footage is safe inside home and for a long-term without any costly subscription of the cloud storage. Overall the system has become my favorite smart security system for my home though its initial cost seems a bit high.

High-Quality 4K Security Without the Monthly Subscription Fee
We recently installed a two-pack of the aosu T2 Ultra system, and the setup process was significantly easier than we expected. The app leads you through the pairing process seamlessly, and the included physical hardware is comprehensive enough that you shouldn’t need a trip to the hardware store regardless of your mounting situation. In our case, we even mounted one off the cameras on a pitched surface, it seems to work just fine. In our case, the ideal spot for the base station was too far from the front yard camera, so we plugged the base station into a Wi-Fi extender via Ethernet, and it has been working perfectly. The camera quality is excellent. The 4K shots are detailed, and the motion-tracking feature is a standout; it allows the camera to follow a subject so you don’t have to rely on a super-wide angle that distorts the image and makes subjects look tiny. The nighttime mode is great also – the video is clear and you can see great detail. The primary reason we switched to this system from a leading competitor was to escape the recurring subscription fees. Our previous annual renewal was going to be $190, so moving to a system with built-in storage and no ongoing costs is a massive win and shows the value of this system. While the hardware is top-tier, the software/AI is a bit behind the more established subscription-based providers. Although you can “train” the system to recognize specific people, we’ve had to manually identify known family members many times, and it’s unclear if the facial recognition is actually improving. We also occasionally get 4 or 5 notifications in a row for the same event, which is a minor annoyance. Additionally, there is a “handoff” feature where cameras track a subject between their respective zones; it’s a great concept, but it hasn’t been 100% reliable for us yet.One thing we were worried about with a non-subscription system was remote access, but we can view live feeds and get notifications when away from home just fine. Despite the minor software quirks—which will hopefully be polished in future updates—the pros of this system far outweigh the cons. We give it 4 stars.

Easy setup, great quality. Will report back in a year.
So far doing well. Time will tell with solar which are maintaining charge despite a foggy winter. Easy install, WiFi setup. Video excellent even at night. Tracks movement smoothly with precise accuracy. Scans up to 180 degrees. I have 6 cameras covering nearly every angle of property.

The best yet!
I will update with some installation pictures and video but I am eager to get this review out there! I love the look of these new T2 Ultra cameras. They look and perform so well. This is coming from a guy that is a bigger fan of hardwired cameras than solar. I have been with the aosu brand for years now, I stay with them because the customer service is top notch and they are always improving! The package sets are the easiest to setup. The homecortex base is a big perk, think of it as the brain to your cameras and allows you to store a lot of video. It allows for the smart features of detecting vehicles and people to be recognized. Did the same guy walk by 4 times today and then again a couple times last week? It will tell you. It doesn’t just notify of motion in your driveway, it will tell you if it was your Tahoe or Corvette that pulled in or out. It does these amazing things and even more if you allow it to be analyzed with the cloud based ai power. The night vision is the best I have seen yet from any brand. Living in a sunny state like Arizona, I have never had an issue with the solar camera battery life but even when it was cloudy and rainy for several days straight, they never went under 80% battery life.

These AOSU T2 Wireless Security Cameras have large internal batteries that can be recharged using the included 5W solar panels so there’s no more climbing up and down ladders to remove the cameras and recharge the batteries after they’ve been installed. The solar panels can be attached directly to the top of the cameras or you can mount them in a remote location using the 10 foot long USB-C cables if your camera is placed in a spot that doesn’t get a lot of direct sunlight. The cameras only need about 90 minutes of direct sunlight per day to keep the batteries topped up, but it’s important to make sure that they’re fully charged before you install them so you get the longest possible runtime out of them. This 2 camera system also includes the AOSU HomeCortex base station that has 32GB of built in storage so you can store up to 90 days of videos locally rather than in the cloud and avoid any monthly subscription fees for storage. The storage capacity of the base station can be expanded up to 16TB with the addition of either a traditional 2.5″ hard drive or an SSD drive that you purchase separately, so you’ll be able to store and retrieve multiple years worth of data whenever you need it. The base station can connect with up to 4 cameras so you can add two more if you need additional coverage. The system has cross camera tracking and uses a combination of Radar, Infrared and Intelligent AI detection that can identify people, pets and vehicles. If someone crosses across two cameras, the App will put the clips in order so you have a complete timeline of what they were doing. The Intelligent AI can recognize people by how they’re dressed and what they’re doing and will provide you with a notification that says something like “someone in jeans and a dark hoodie was spotted approaching your vehicle”. The quality of the video provided by these cameras is fantastic regardless of whether it’s day or night. They record in 4K Ultra HD resolution and have an ultra wide f/1.0 aperture lens with a 130 degree field of view and feature 355 degree Pan and 90 degree Tilt function to ensure they capture all movement. The combination of the f/1.0 aperture lens and the 1/1.8″ Starlight sensor makes video captured in complete darkness look almost like daytime. Using the AOSU App you choose between using TrueColor Night Vision that activates the built in spot light when motion is detected, or Covert Full Color Night vision without the spot light. I’ve left the cameras on Covert Full Color Night mode because it makes them much more difficult for anyone to notice while still providing excellent quality full color night video.Based on the image quality and the advance AI recognition, I think this is one of the best security systems currently available. Highly recommended.

This is a 4K solar powered 2 cameras in a set. It has AI intelligence and 360 degrees pan & tilt. The F/1.0 ultra-wide aperture and large 1/1.8” starlight sensor capture full-color footage even in total darkness. It can store up to 90 days of footage with built-in 32GB memory. expand to 16TB via external drive. It uses PIR, radar, and on-device AI work together to detect human activity accurately. It only requires 90 minutes of sunlight to keep the camera running all day.It comes in with a fairly big box. The first feeling is the cameras and the hub are bulky. But on the other hand you can call it solid built. The cameras are partially charged already which allow me to test it right away. First I have to install an app on my cellphone. And then I just follow the instruction on the app to set up the connection. This is quite straight forward without any issue. It is good that it has an alarm which you may use in emergency situation. The alarm is quite loud which is good. However, when I speak to the camera my voice is quite loud too. I am not sure whether there is a way to turn down the voice. There is a hub which needs to hard wire to the wifi router. I don’t understand why it can’t be connected wirelessly. Perhaps direct connection guarantees a good connection. I like that the solar panel can be installed attach to the camera or detach. This makes the installation flexible. I find that there is a lag of a few seconds when it captures object movement. In general I find this camera set of good quality. It is quite solid built. I like that the seller provides 1 year of warranty. I find the price on the expensive side compare to the other solar camera I own. I guess you get what you pay for.

The core functionality is excellent even though there are some software issues that need addressing. I’ve been running this four camera kit for several days now and I’m really happy with the hardware side of things. The image quality is outstanding, easily the clearest footage I’ve gotten from any security camera. The 4K resolution means you can zoom in on recorded video and still see useful detail, and the night vision produces actual colour images in darkness which is miles better than infrared black and white. The solar panels are working well to keep the batteries charged, though obviously I can’t speak to long term performance yet or how they’ll handle winter conditions. Installation wasn’t too complicated, the cameras come mostly assembled and you just need to attach a few pieces. They are quite bulky though, definitely the largest cameras I’ve installed anywhere. The build feels premium, solid construction with attention to weatherproofing details. The 360 degree pan and tilt gives you comprehensive coverage, you can set up automatic patrol patterns or manually control where the camera points through the app. The AI detection is good at identifying actual people while ignoring pets, vehicles, and environmental movement like trees swaying. This drastically reduces false alarms compared to basic motion detection. When multiple cameras pick up the same event it intelligently combines the footage into a single alert which prevents notification spam.Local storage is a major advantage, the 32GB internal memory stores a lot of footage and you can expand to 16TB with external drives. No subscription fees and no dependence on cloud services means your data stays private and you’re not locked into ongoing costs. The app needs work though. Viewing events requires selecting individual cameras instead of showing everything chronologically. Thumbnail previews are unreliable, sometimes they load and sometimes they don’t. Video playback is jerky on fast phones. The TrueSight AI descriptions are inconsistent, occasionally accurate but often completely off. You can view all cameras at once in TrueSight but not in the regular Events section which makes no sense. These are fixable issues but they’re annoying in daily use.

I set this AOSU system up a few days ago and the full-color night vision has blown me away. I compared it side-by-side with my high-end phone camera and the security footage looks just as good in low light without any adjustments, you can actually see colors and details instead of grainy black and white images. The solar charging works great, the panels keep the batteries topped up and I haven’t had any power issues. The cameras are bigger than I expected when they arrived but the size makes sense considering everything packed inside. The 360 degree pan and tilt range means you can see absolutely everything, no blind spots anywhere. You can manually control where the camera points through the app or program patrol routes that automatically scan different areas. What I really appreciate is the AI detection that filters out false alarms. It accurately detects people while ignoring my cats, passing cars, and tree shadows which used to trigger constant alerts with my old system. The multi-camera tracking feature is clever, when movement is detected across multiple cameras it combines everything into one video with a single notification so you see the complete picture without getting spammed. The local storage with no subscription fees is huge for me, I’m tired of paying monthly cloud storage costs. The 32GB built-in storage holds plenty and knowing I can expand to 16TB if needed provides peace of mind. Installation was easy following the instructions and connecting everything to the HomeCortex base worked smoothly. The app has some annoying quirks like having to manually select cameras and refresh to view events, and sometimes video playback is choppy. But honestly for the image quality and features you’re getting these are minor complaints. Really happy with this system overall.

I recently added these two solar-powered AOSU security cameras to my existing set of five (three outdoor and two indoor), and wow—these new ones really impressed me! The setup was unbelievably easy; as soon as I turned them on, the app recognized them right away, without me even scanning a QR code. In about 30 seconds, they were fully connected and ready to go! The signal strength to my router is excellent, and the connection is super stable. I love how smoothly they rotate—full 360° coverage means the entire area is constantly under watch with zero blind spots. The picture quality is top-notch, crystal clear both day and night. The smart motion tracking is another highlight—it’s fast, accurate, and honestly outperforms some big-name brands I’ve tried before. The battery life has also been fantastic, lasting through Canada’s long, gloomy winter days without needing a recharge. Overall, these AOSU cameras deliver outstanding quality, easy setup, and amazing performance. I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, high-end home security!
