Great value, simple installation
A really nice looking unit! Easy to put together if handy. It us a bit shallower than my old unit so make sure to measure any units to fit inside like dvd players, modems, etc.Update: 75” Samsung TV with stand/base in the middle completely covers up the power strip opening on top. Can still get to it from the back but that kinda defeats the purpose. Just be aware.Comes with tools needed but I used my own nice screwdriver and Allen wrench set.Ours came in two boxes with the longest being pretty heavy.Took about 2.5 hours from unboxing to completion. I’m very handy putting things together and I know some comments mention not very good instructions but I found it to be simple and adequate.Installation recommendations: take everything out of box, each item is labeled by letters, put in order, do everything in order. Take out hardware and all are numbered, place in order. Look at first few steps to make certain the first step your boards were installed in the right place. This is the cheap cam locking type system but is sturdy.I did all steps by myself except toward the end where another person is a good help with heavier boards and placement.Highly recommend! Something like this if in a furniture store would be 4 times the cost of this.

Love!!! It was shipped in 2 boxes 2 days apart. I almost returned. So be prepared for that. It was time consuming to put together, but for the price, worth it!!!

Beautiful piece!
I have never purchased furniture like this off of Amazon. I must say I am pleasantly surprised by the quality. It only took my husband and I probably 45 mins to put together, instructions were easy to follow. I also got the matching coffee table and side table and the pieces totally changed the vibe of our family room. Overall, we love the piece and it has lasted through the daily beating of two toddlers!

Worst Amazon purchase I’ve ever made
To start, there were 2 pieces busted. The top and the bottom. They had hairline cracks. The box and the packaging were not torn up, making me think it was like that before it was shipped.There was a cut in the wrong place as well. I had to make a cut and drill holes to make the piece work.The instructions were miserable, and very vague. Hard to understand what was going on.It took me 2 and half hours because I had to modify a piece, twice.I have been in construction for nearly 18 years now and I have built houses with less complications than this piece of furniture, and I use the word furniture loosely.The specs say that it will hold 350 lbs, I would bet against that. The back piece that is made for the lateral racking is not big enough and the screws hit the pieces of wood at a bad angle causing them to splinter the front pieces that are visible.Lastly, I caught this on a little bit of a sale, but still paid 300 for it and it is not worth half of what I paid. The only hope I have is that this was intended to be a temporary piece until I build one. Maybe I will be able to use the sliding door hardware on the one I am going to build…No chance I would ever purchase this again and if it were given to me, I’d simply burn, because that’s all this is good for…
