Two 12″ Ceramic Vases + 40″ Tall Dried Pampas Grass Set – Boho Floor Decor for Home, Wedding & Commercial Spaces

Beautiful, but Messy, with Different Vases than Pictured
This pampas grass set arrives very well packaged in a cardboard box long enough to accommodate the height of the grass, with plenty of protective foam surrounding the vases. This set includes two sturdy ceramic vases, in black and white matte finishes, two bundles of pampas grass with 10 branches in each bundle, four bundles of standard tall grass, and a lovely card for gifting.The height of this set, from the bottom of the vase to the tip of the tallest piece of grass is as described at 40 inches, but while the dimensions of both vases match what is provided in the product listing information (8.3 inches height x 4.5 inches width), they are not the 12 inch tall vases that are described in the title of the listing or what is shown in the item images. Additionally, the openings of the vases that are included in this set are much smaller than that which is shown in the item images, with the included vase opening being only 1.75 inches in diameter. This then makes it difficult to fit all of the grass into one vase, and results in the grass being stuck in a completely upright position, without any ability to create space between branches.Beyond the differences in vase design and size, it is also important to be aware of the fact that pampas grass is inherently messy. Just opening this box will get fluffy little pieces of grass everywhere, and even after you have taken these outside, smacked them together, blown a fan on them, and shaken them to produce maximum fluffiness, as soon as you bring them back into your home, the pampas grass branches will continue to shed. If you place these in a room with any kind of fan, anytime you turn the fan on, clouds of white strands will fly everywhere. If you rearrange these, bump into them, or just move the vase a little, bits of fluffy stuff will be on you, your floor, and everything nearby.Since I was the genius who ordered grass that is apparently known to be very messy, I did not reduce my rating because of an issue that is largely the result of my own lack of knowledge. Overall, this pampas grass is very pretty when displayed in a large vase, but I am not cool enough to be willing to vacuum and dust every day for the sake of one piece of aesthetically pleasing décor.

So messy!!
I really want to love these, but unfortunately I don’t. I’ve never had pampas before, so maybe it’s just my lack of knowledge, but they are so messy!!!!! The second I took them out of the box, I had pampas fur all over the place. Trying to style and arrange them made even more of a mess. I think the vases need to be taller, so I swapped them out for one big vase. It looks better, but still not sure how I feel about them. I placed them outside for now since they make such a mess, but I can’t recommend them at this time. Highly disappointed.

What beautiful grasses! These are tall and lush and even come with 2 decorative vases! I missed that part of the description as I was concentrated on the grasses themselves! 😆 The stalks were well packaged and unbroken. I have a tall wicker floor vase that needed to be filled and, since I already have a vase of pampas grass on my dresser, I knew what to expect. I had to stuff paper into the vase in order to raise the grasses but I’m still making adjustments to get the right look. They are a bit messy to handle but, again, I knew they would be. The instructions read to place them in direct sun for 4-7 hours or use a blow dryer on cool setting for 15-20 minutes to fluff them up. I am happy with this product and how it looks in my home.
