What type of WIFI does the doorbell camera use ?
The doorbell camera only supports 2.4GHz WIFI, please make sure you are using 2.4GHz WIFI. If adding a doorbell fails, long press the “Reset” button until you hear a “di” sound, then try to reconnect.
Any installation suggestions?
(1) Installed on a non-metallic door frame about 1.6m from the ground, metal may block the WIFI signal (2) The installation location should be as close to the router as possible to ensure a good WIFI signal
How do I adjust the sensitivity of the motion detection of the video doorbell?
(1) Enter the Smart Life APP(2) Go to the Home interface, click on Intelligent Doorbell, and click on the three dots in the upper right corner “…”(3) Scroll down the page and click “Detection Alarm Settings” > Alarm Sensitivity Level – > set to Low
I don’t want to receive non-essential notifications at all, so how do I turn off motion detection?
(1) Enter the Smart Life APP(2) Go to the Home interface, click on Intelligent Doorbell, then click in the lower right corner to expand the function bar, and click Features to disable PIR
Why can the doorbell be removed directly from the bracket?
There is a small screw inside the screw bag that needs to be screwed on after putting the doorbell back in the bracket. In this way, the doorbell cannot be taken out at will.

Great product, does the job!
The video doorbell camera is easy to install. It came with a doorbell you hang by your door and another bell unit that you connect to an USB adopter. Download the app, connect and then you will get alarm when the camera detects activity. It is pretty sensitive. Sound and video quality is good.

The doorbell seems solid. Well constructed.Set up was fairly easy following the included directions.The unit I got did not include any mounting instructions. However, I was able to figure out how to mount it.The doorbell comes seated in the mounting bracket. As noted in the pictures, at the bottom of the unit is a small notch where you can pry the doorbell out from the enclosure.There are two screw holes to mount the enclosure to your outside door jamb.There was also a very small screw in with the mounting screws. I believe that it is intended to screw through the outer enclosure into the doorbell itself to prevent someone from easily taking it.My Wi-Fi signal is not very strong at my front door. So the result was that I could get an alert that someone had tripped the motion sensor, or had rang the doorbell. But not enough signal to actually see video or communicate.So before I can actually use it, I will have to get a Wi-Fi repeater or in some other way make sure I have a stronger signal at the front door.When I had the doorbell out from the mounting bracket, I noticed an additional covered slot under the USB charging slot.Removing the rubber cover, I can see a narrow slot that looks about the size of an SD micro card. Now behind the slot, there was some thin, black plastic, not hard plastic, but like a very thin rubber sheet. Not sure what that is for, but if I find out what it is, I will update the review.The indoor chime has a USB connection on the back of it. It would be nicer if it plugged into an AC outlet. But instead of that, it draws power from the USB port. That means you have to have a spare USB port somewhere in your house to plug it into. I happen to have an outlet with two USB ports on it and it plugged into that fine. But it blocked both AC outlets. I suppose if you had a spare charging cube plugged into the AC outlet you could plug the chime into the charging cube. I found it humorous that in the instructions, they referred to the chime as the “dingdong machine“.Overall, nice unit. Easy set up. Needs mounting instructions.

Amazon and Guys poor Service
Bought this and it worked for 3 weeks. Sent a problem report and the Amazon sent 2 videos. Unit. would not power up using the instructions. Called Amazon the rep gave us the phone # for Ring vice Tuya. We bought a unit from different company an guess we have to suck up$69 for this.

Beautifully clear and wide views. Excellent night vision. Camera activates too slow.
Image quality is excellent! Active monitoring is very good. The reaction time from the motion sensor to actually recording is VERY slow. If someone were to run up to the door ring the bell and run away, there’s an excellent chance they’ll get away before the video activates. This unit’s battery has only held a charge for about 35 days.The night vision is excellent as is the field of vision. It’s an okay purchase but not good for security surveillance. When I was vacationing it was nice to get a view of my yard anytime from anywhere.The installation instructions fail to point out that the back and side portion detatches and is directly mounted to the house. Once mounted slip the electronics into the case to be held into place. To aid in slipping the electronics out of the case I used a small flat head screwdriver. NO SPECIAL SAFETY LOCK or KEY.I wouldn’t purchase this again.

Battery life is terrible.
Like most battery operated video doorbells I’ve tried, the battery life is abysmal. Have to recharge monthly.I have given up on the video doorbell craze and just purchased a regular doorbell/chime.The Bottom Line?Uncle Steve Disapproved!
