Work great, easy to program depending on opener model. Be sure door is closed/down before starting.
Work correctly on my older model Genie opener. Instructions outline programming for older vs. newer Genie openers and was easy to do. Garage door needs to be down when programming but this is only mentioned in trouble shooting section. Fortunately I read entire instruction sheet (it isn’t long) and noticed this potential for failure so made sure door was down. Programming both hand openers took less that a minute and work properly.Excellent product at very reasonable price.

Bottom line – it just works.Programming is a breeze and works flawlessly. The printed instructions are more than adequate, and there are online resources too.Physically the remote is very similar in size and style to the original Genie remote, albeit slightly slimmer. It shares the original’s ability to defeat most attempts to access the battery without tools, a shame as sometimes if it’s very cold you can only get it to work by warming the battery in your armpit!A bargain for the price, and I would definitely recommend this.

Everything needed for simple function
Super simple design and comes with everything needed. This was super easy to program, came with battery, and had just the simple one button with led indicator that it’s working. I replaced the original Genie Intelligent remote that didn’t have the light so I didn’t know if it even worked anymore. Was super surprised at such a good price for the remote.

I have a very old Genie garage door opener. I don’t know how old it is as it was there when I purchased the house 5 years ago. There was no manual for it. The genie remote that came with it was falling apart and a terrible remote. This garage door opener comes with easy instructions to follow and I was able to program it very quickly and easily. It came with an extra remote, so I have a backup. I would recommend this!

Worked like a charm. Batteries were already in the remotes The instructions to program were very clear and super easy to follow. The hardest part of the whole process was getting the cover off my garage door opener and finding the reset button. Once that was done, easy-peasy!
