Easy Setup, Awesome Look, and Tons of Colors!
This light was a great surprise. It was incredibly easy to assemble—honestly, the setup took less time than deciding where to put it. Once it was up, the aesthetic really stood out. It looks sleek and modern without trying too hard, which is exactly what we wanted.The app control is a huge bonus. The interface is simple, the connection is reliable, and the range of colors is impressive. Whether you want bright, bold lighting or something more subtle, it’s all there with a tap on your phone. We’ve already changed the color scheme about a dozen times just because we can.All around, it’s stylish, functional, and fun to use. Solid 5 stars.

Good smart lamp with a so-so rolled shade
Easy to assemble, works well with voice assistants, and puts out plenty of light with lots of color and dimming options. The only weak point is the lampshade—since it ships flat and you roll it into shape, it never looks perfectly smooth. Otherwise, solid functionality and a good value for a modern smart lamp.

Does Not Work w/ Google Home
Despite product details stating it works with Google Home, this does not as verified via first hand use and the app also stating this. This is a big detractor for me as I have a very automated home where google assistants are placed throughout for automation- they cannot interact with this bulb. This is essentially a floor lamp with a removable multifunction bulb installed. The “smart” bulb works via bluetooth (no wifi option) so you must be within distance of your phone to control the light unless using the timer function or the floor switch to turn it off and on. The voice commands are very specific commands if using that feature but if using the app, it is easy to change colors, scenes, brightness, and hue of regular lamp from soft to daylight. The bulb offers a lot of color combinations and adjustable brightness, and on the highest setting produces good brightness. No complaints when using app, its intuative and easy to use. There is a rhythm mode but I did not elect to use this as the app requested permission to record audio; I am not to keen on recording audio- maybe the developer meant accessing the microphone. The recording audio permission also applied to voice commands so I did not use that feature but the app lists the exact commands you must use- no renaming the light to something custom. The actual lamp frame itself is of nice quality. It is easy to assemble, solid, heavy base, and a decent floor step switch if you choose to use that. The lamp shade comes rolled up in the opposite direction that you apply it to the frame but it did not create any issues and once clipped together, appears to be holding strong enough.

Where do I begin because there’s quite a lot of good to this. Firstly the bulb is what’s the “smart” part of it and yes, it does work with Alexa devices. So rather than a WiFi controlled bulb it’s actually Bluetooth only and that helps a lot because it’s less strain on your WiFi (important for lower speed WiFi users). Start with its app to set it up then go to your Alexa app to connect it via Bluetooth. You’d never know it’s a smart lamp. I love the lamp’s switch is a floor pedal style too. So if you don’t want to use it as a smart lamp you can. The lampshade part was especially amazing because you can flatten it out to clean. It clips on two rings and Velcro closes. It comes compact in a small but heavy box so this is really move to new home friendly. Firstly; with the Alexa app you’ll have less control over the colours you can set it to. The app has more. You can’t put this device on another app as you could with a WiFi enabled device and a gateway. I tried and it didn’t work. That’s fine because I just use the Alexa app as it’s enabled for that. Lastly; give it a name! Pick something easy to pronounce and your Alexa can turn it on or off or different colours and brightness. No need to enable a skill either. Super simple to put together or fold down. The height gets over 5 ft tall too!

Nice solid lamp that comes with a good smart bulb
The most important thing to note about this kind of lamp is this: You don’t need a special lamp to use a color-changing smart bulb. You can buy one and turn any lamp or light and add color-changing capabilities on the spot. So, if you love the aesthetic of this lamp, get it! But there’s nothing special that makes it work with the smart bulb.The lamp itself is pretty great. Even though you have to screw the pieces together, they match up seamlessly and it looks like a solid uninterrupted matte black pole. The base is nice and heavy, and there’s a foot-switch to turn it on and off. You can adjust the height of the shade in a six-inch range by loosening a handle, lifting it higher or lower, and then tightening the handle again.I’ve been assembling torchiere-style lights my entire adult life, and the build quality on this is really, really good. Also, I definitely appreciate that the provided smart bulb can be operated with the brmesh app. It’s compatible with all the big-name Apple and Amazon smart systems, BUT I don’t want my lights to be connected to the Internet. This bulb lets you connect with Bluetooth instead of wi-fi, and you can manage it without having to get a global giant involved.The only thing I don’t like about the light is the shade. The package provides the top and bottom frames, and you unroll a plastic-back linen-like fabric that adheres to itself with Velcro. I don’t like the way it looks, and I’ll be hitting up thrift stores to find a shade I like more.
