Thick and Beautiful
I ordered a second carpet because I LOVE THIS CARPET. Shipping was FAST. I didn’t expect it for another week and was SUPER surprised when UPS knocked on my door this morning. Exactly as ordered. I have two others and just loved them and the plushness is perfect, feels so good under the feet, and excellent value and craftsmanship. The price is great compared to others for the same price. This one is very well made and the others that I have had for a few years look just like new. I am doing as recommended and letting it sit for a few days to relax. I did put my vacuum across it on the highest setting to help raise the yarns…it has been rolled up for a while and shipped all over the world, and it needs time to enjoy the freedom from the wrapping… LOVE THIS 7×7 RUG!!! Robot Vacuum Approved!
I wanted to specifically provide a review of this rug for those that have robot vacuums but first a very quick review of the rug itself.This is easily the best value rug I’ve ever purchased. It’s lush, plush, high pile and heavenly under foot. It looks stunning and could easily cost twice the price. Everyone that sees it in my home immediately comments on it. It’s very heavy, very well made and comes shipped perfectly in waterproof tight wrap. Unrolled on day 1 there is no smell and the edges settle flat completely within 24 hours. I’m so happy with this rug that I’ve now purchased a matching 12 foot runner and a couple smaller rugs as well and plan to buy the same brand to replace some carpets in my bedrooms. It far exceeded my expectations and all the positive reviews are well earned.My primary concern with this rug was how my Neato vacuum would react to it. I was worried that it would attempt to vacuum it and get stuck, or worse, manage to vacuum it but struggle and wear the carpet. You don’t want to use a roller vacuum on a carpet like this. I’m happy to say after several days and several vacuums that the Neato is smart enough to avoid this rug entirely. It will go up to the edges, immediately realize it’s too high pile, and then back off and treat it as a wall going forward. I’ve read other reviews that said the Roomba vacuums will get stuck on it… well, that’s one of many reasons I don’t use a Roomba. If you own a Neato, this rug is perfectly compatible! Also as far as vacuuming, my Dyson works great on this rug with the roller turned off. I imagine heavy vacuums may be a chore but Dysons are nice and light so they work great.Also if you’re slightly OCD inclined like myself; I’ve had problems with rugs in the past where if you walk on them they show your footprints, or if you vacuum them the multi directional fabric will show darker/lighter in one direction…I know we are in a minority but this kind of thing drives me nuts. I’m happy to say this rug doesn’t have those issues. Walk on it, vacuum it, brush it – it looks great no matter what and no discernible difference in color or pattern. You won’t find yourself brushing it to one side to keep it neat looking.If you’re on the fence… buy this rug!UPDATE 6/15/18The rugs are still holding up great and still look new after many vacuums and lots of traffic. I had more house-guests this weekend and the first thing everyone noticed and commented on was my beautiful rugs. Everyone was shocked when I told them where I got them and for what low price. I continue to be exceptionally happy with this purchase.

So much better than I expected
I ordered a entryway runner a few months back from this company and it was very thin and light (Still very pretty and with the floor gripping sheets it stays put fine) so I was expecting the same but only larger. I had seen a carpet at a furniture store that I wanted but they only carry it in 8×10 for $400 – The carpet I originally had is a 10×14, so I’ve been searching for one the same size but no luck. Way too pricey and NOT what I wanted. So, I saw this one (8×10 in slate blue) and figured for the price I could find out if an 8×10 would work before I spent $400+Tax and delivery on the one from the furniture store. I’d planned on moving this one to the bedroom after I tried it out. But I was absolutely surprised by what arrived.It was raining here and the delivery people just left it on the porch and took off. Well, I’ve not had trouble rolling up and lifting my 10×14, so I thought I’d be able to move this with no problem. I was WRONG. It was so heavy and I had a hard time getting it into the house. I was surprised by the weight and then once I got it in and unwrapped it, I was surprised again by the quality and thickness. No where near my runner carpet. This feels exactly like the one I was going to buy from the furniture store, but so much more plush!Now. there was a very slight smell but once I unrolled it and got it into place the smell had gone (unless you stick your face near it – but that too is fading as I type this *Yes, I just got down there and sniffed it*). There was only one or two bits of fluff (so no shedding). After seeing how deep my fingers went into it, I was worried my vacuum would have trouble. It was a bit stubborn to start, but after a minute or so I was doing the whole carpet without trouble. I’ve had the same carpet for 20 years (oriental – so you know they aren’t known for their cushion) – I was tickled pink that it feels like the wall to wall carpet you install. The only thing under it is a very thin Grip Master Gripper pad. The only reason I used that (because the weight should be enough to prevent sliding) is because the seller suggests it to protect hard floors from the carpet backing.The slate blue is BLUER than it seems in the pictures (theirs and my own) – if the fibers lay one way it is a shiny blue and if you fluff it, it is a darker deeper blue. I tried my best to capture the true color. Because I expected a grayish blue I was a bit startled by the color, but I’m loving it now (only 6 hours later – needed to adjust to it a bit).I love this rug and I no longer need to spend $400+ on the one I was going to buy. This wound up costing me 1/2 that. I will definitely be ordering another one in the grey (still need a rug for the bedroom after all). Very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend this product. I paid full price and didn’t receive anything from the seller or company for my review.I’ve only had it for 8 hours now – but if something should change I will update this review, but I honestly don’t see that happening.

I have purchased carpets from this manufacturer in the past and they never disappoint. This is of high quality, sturdy, well well made with a strong backing and very fluffy pile that you can’t see through. It was better than expected. I used an under pad for it but that is not necessary because of the weight and the quality of this rug.
