Easy build, small bed
Easy build, not too many pieces. Took me less than 30mins to build. Looks beautiful in my garden. It’s a small bed, good for small herbs like dill.

Easy Build
This planter box is easy to build and aesthetically pleasing. The material is wood, too, so there is very little worry about any leaching in the soil, a relief to organic gardeners. However, the placing of the trellis is somewhat strange, unless you are planning to place this raised box over a patch of in-ground garden. The trellis, without this strategic placement, is too low for a planter and therefor ends up serving mostly an aesthetic purpose. I will say the overall height makes this planter ideal for anyone who wants to garden without crouching over too much.

Beautiful! Easy to assemble if you’re the handy type. Wear gloves to avoid splinters. Everything you need is in the box.

Missing parts, badly cut pieces. Don’t recommend.
I don’t recommend this at all! Very poorly made and missing key parts to enable assembly. One piece was cut so badly that I thought I was assembling it wrong at first. It turned out to be a badly mis-cut piece. Then the main stand was missing both of the bolts the screws go into on one side. This made the entire assembly very difficult and ultimately it is unstable/wobbly because of it. I should return it but I need it to hide a part of my front yard right away so I will fix it myself with a drill and extra screws. Very annoying as I needed a quick fix and not a lot of hassle.

Nice and fairly priced.
I painted it with teak oil to preserve the wood during harsh weather conditions. Nice looking and functional for easy access to herbs.

Nice planter, smaller than anticipated, too much assembly required
The woodsy smell when I opened the box this came in was wonderful. After the two hours it took two of us to put it together, I was no longer as enamored by the aroma. The planter is pretty (it looks just like the pictures) , but is somewhat smaller than I had expected. I had ordered it to use with two other planters that have a similar design theme, but I think their size scale may dwarf this little planter. We have an open woodshed that tends to be somewhat unsightly and I was hoping to camouflage the mess by putting these three planters in front of it (the others are taller and have trellises for vines to grow on). I think I need to fill and plant them all before I can tell how they will look together.Meanwhile, this planter is fairly sturdy once assembled and is deep enough to accommodate almost any kind of plant. I will probably line it with plastic to extend its useful life and bring it into my greenhouse during the winter. I think it will look lovely with petunias and nasturtiums. Then I will probably love it a lot. Recommended for those who don’t mind extended assemblage projects.

Not bad for the price
For the price this is holding up pretty well! This picture was taken after 1 week of rain, and the wood doesnt seem damaged or stained. I didn’t pre-treat the wood because I was lazy. But pretty impressed! I’m not sure what the lattice at the bottom is for though haha
