I enjoy the flexibility.
I feel like these were a good investment, though maybe a tad bit spendy. We will see how they hold up over time, but for now I love them. Installed about two months prior to writing this. The installation could t have been easier, except that for my particular case I did have to install an additional outlet on the exterior of my house, but I wanted one anyway, so that worked out. They are bright, they come on when they’re told to, and the ability to change the colors is fun, though we won’t use that function but once or twice a year. The only issue I’ve run into is that sometimes…SOMETIMES…they will act up and one won’t change brightness or color with the rest. It’s infrequent, but it happens. I’ve redone my home networking and that may have solved the problem, though. I like that I can fine tune the color temperature of the light to perfectly match the rest of my exterior lighting. That really makes it feel high-end, and helps me justify the price a little.

Easy to install
You will need a GFCI outlet and the Philips Hue bridge to operate these lights. The original box containing the light kits has the instructions on how to connect the lights is printed on the back of that box. Easy setup just don’t throw the box away until you are done. Put electrical tape around the connections before burying. You do not need electrical tape, connections are very secure. We just did it for extra protection against the weather. Found the cords to be long and dug a 4″ trench to bury each line. We will put landscape liner and mulch on top of the buried lines in the landscape bed.You will need to setup the Hue bridge for wi-fi. App is easy to configure and will be spending time getting familiar with all of the features this app provides for our lights. Make sure you have the S/N handy. Currently, our lights are programmed for sunset to sunrise. You can setup routines with different colors, times, days, and even upload your favorite picture to capture those colors and sync your lights to your photo.Endless ambiance possibilities. Great LED product!

Worth the money
I’m an electrical contractor and I normally stay away from “homeowner grade” products like I assumed this product was since I first came across it at Home Depot. After some research I pulled the trigger on some bulbs, a hub and a lily starter kit. Well I have to say I’m impressed. The lily fixtures are well build (could be brighter when on colors, white is plenty bright) I also added in a lily XL. Iomega most things in life, you get what you pay for, if your lucky. You will be happy with the system and the app is pretty good as well. I should add, I now have 16 a19 style bulbs, 7 lily lights, on lily XL, one power supply and one hub, 4 led tape used for kitchen under cabinet lighting. I haven’t had one failure in over a year. Only issue is one of the tape lights sometimes doesn’t reset to the last programmed color and goes back to the default color and it can be annoying.

All 3 lights dead within 12 hours of use; customer service cannot replace them
UPDATE: 33 days after opening a ticket on September 11 for the two DOA lights, I finally received replacement units. The good news is that the new lights do seem to be working, although they are very dim for floods/washes, as others have mentioned. The bad news is the third original light, which I had not been using while waiting for the replacements to ship (as lighting half a yard doesn’t help me much), died within 24 hours of use. After creating another ticket on Thursday, I received a response the following Tuesday Philips was out of stock of Lilies, had no idea when they would come back in stock, and had no idea if or when they would know about stock quantities. I was told to wait an indeterminate amount of time until they could tell me when replacements would be available. I asked for a refund instead and am waiting to hear back.To his credit, the service rep was courteous, if not always responsive. Unfortunately, six weeks later, I still have a half-functioning landscape lighting system and no guarantee that I will ever — much less when — receive a working product. Comparatively, the only time I ever had a Lutron Caseta product die on me, they called me back immediately regarding my ticket and shipped me a replacement part without even requiring me to return the original. When it works, the Hue line of products are exceptionally cool and convenient — a fun way to show off to the Joneses. However, don’t expect a replacement or an quick refund if your product is dead on arrival. If you must, stick with the interior Hue bulbs, which seem to be a bit more reliable (or at least affordable). Steer clear of the expensive hardware fixtures, though.Original Review: I’m sure these would be great if they worked, but two of the three lights were dead out of the box. They are supposedly under warranty, but 10 days and multiple phone calls and emails later, I’m no closer to a replacement or return. I’m not impressed with the customer service, and I’m rethinking my Hue setup in my house if Philips isn’t interested in supporting their products.

Great lighting with good brightness, ease of use, lots of flexibility with the long wires and connectors provided and works very well with the hub, integrating easy into Apple Home. Would be nice if the wires could have customizable lengths to allow for custom installation, but the connectors are permanently attached. At least the provided wires are quite long. Also found the set screws to hold the light at a specific angle with the wall mounts don’t seem to work too well. It’s best to tighten them all the way then screw in the mount to that position.

A un excelente precio y perfecto embalaje de producto. La calidad de Hue de Phillips es inigualable, con muchísimos colores por escoger y aún más que son customizables, es la mejor opción en el mercado.

Great quality products. I was going to hire my landscaper to install more lights for my backyard. Got a quote from my landscaper for $5000 labor included (10 spot lights, 10 driveway lights, extension cables and transformers). Because of the shutdown, I decided to do it myself. Bought these lights and works perfectly. I am super happy with the purchase.

I love it (could be more brighter) I would like to see around 1000 lumens per spot.I recommend this product

These look like they will work perfectly for their intended use outdoors. Going to use them as flood lighting in a pavilion I’m building in the spring. This is the starter kit and if wanted you can use extensions and even add 2 additional lights… lights are strong enough for my use and if wanted I can dim them down in the app.
