I ordered the version that installs thru the hole in my umbrella table. It came with a threaded stem which affixes the fire pit to the table. I decided to buy a hose extension so I could connect it to a standard propane tank, the type I use for my gas grill. It assembled easily with for screws and a big but for the table. It let easily and looks nice. After it burns for a good 20 minutes it will start radiating heat with a a few feet.

Easy set up. Works well with 1lb tanks.Wind does take the flame a bit, could be a deeper bowl.Needs air underneath. Flat surface preferred.Portable factor is good. Nice and small for the RV cubby.4 stars because it’s just not very warm. 60 degree night and my wife still went inside cold. Lol

Great ambience, no heat
Buy the auxillary hose, the little propane cannisters don’t last very long.Can be a pain to light. I’ve found that if you hold the knob depressed in the light position for about 10-15 seconds after it lights, it stays lit more often.If all you want is the ambience of a fire on your table without the hassle of keeping a mini fire pit going, this might be for you. If you are looking for heat, keep looking

Neat little thing
These are cool and work quite well once you figure out how the ignitor knob works, which isn’t entirely clear in the instructions; definitely a bit of a learning curve. Before you return it, just look through some of the reviews from the nice people who took the time to explain it to people like me who have no patience.:-)I do wish it came in at least an Earth tone option and not just black.

Update: This fire pit was recalled. In some instances these fire pits exploded. Amazon sent out a notice about a month ago. Amazon gave me a 100% refund.___________________________Excellent quality propane fire pit. The only negative thing I have to say is there is not a cable to connect your fire pit included In the package. I had to order it separately after the fire pit was delivered.

Works and looks great. Heat is decent. Takes a bit to get working.
Took off one star as it didn’t seem to work right out of the box. That was frustrating. Once working, it is doing well, though.I have the “side mount” version and bought an extension hose (from Lowe’s) to make it more sturdy and keep the tank away from the device. I highly recommend the hose as it doesn’t balance well with heavy tank on the side of it.It would NOT stay lit after putting it together which was frustrating. I could get it to light, but then it would immediately fade out and die within a few seconds.Two things seemed to help solve the issue.1 – CLEAN and WIPE DOWN all the gas flame ports to make sure they are free of any debris from shipping. I did this and it seemed to help.2 – When LIGHTING it, push the knob it and keep it pushed in until flame is solid and then slowly release it once the flame has caught and is staying. It now seems to work well for me once I started using this method to light it.I was close to returning it before figuring out this method.It’s a decent size, and I’m enjoying it. Heat output is not massive, but neither is the device or the tank.

It doesn’t have heat if you are looking to get warm but it’s romantic and relaxing. Great size for a patio table…

Fairly simple to use and produces some good flames for enjoying the night and roasting marshmallows anytime. Providing a small propane cylinder gives you space if your looking to use it more often than intended with the appropriate adapter and a dedicated tank im sure that it can be enjoyed even longer then needed. One thing to note is that it gets fairly hot and it’s recommended thar you move this away after letting it cool down for 20mins.

Got this a month ago and just took it out of the box. Put a new propane tank on it and it will not stay lit. Looks nice and is a good size but I must have got a dud. For this I can only give it one star. Too much of a hassle to send it back.
