Great Customer service, solid piece, but the table top could be better.
The item itself is about 4 stars, I’m giving it a full 5 for the customer service. I had to contact customer service when the package didn’t arrive when it was marked as delivered. The package was missing but the company responded same day and resolved the issue and got me a new table by the next day. The table itself is pretty solid, but the lifting mechanisms are pretty weak, will definitely need two hands to lift it up and down, and you don’t want too much weight on it as you do so. It doesn’t lift smoothly or evenly otherwise. I do wish that the table top could be reversible or installed to open in the opposite direction without drilling new holes. Or have barn doors opening on both the front and the back so it can look good aesthetically from either side that you see it from. Outside of these issues, the table as a whole is very sturdy, the space underneath the tabletop is great for storage. The instructions were very easy to follow, and putting it together was quick work, about 45 minutes to an hour altogether. One person can put the majority of it together by themselves, but two people would be preferable when installing the table top so it gets installed evenly. Overall it’s a good piece, especially for its price point, looks like something you can buy off of the sales floor of a brick and mortar furniture store.

Great table
We are very pleased with the quality and the easy instructions to put this table together. It looks just like the picture. I would not hesitate to recommend this table, the desktop feature is a very nice addition also. Lots of hidden storage also which I love. We’ll packaged too.

Beautiful and sturdy
The table is beautiful and matches our end tables. We love it. My husband put it together by himself, and added four little wheels, which makes it a lot easier to move the table. A little downside is that the top lifts on the barn door side. And it is easier to lift it with two people. We searched a table like this in many stores and online, and finally found this one. We are very happy with our purchase.

Sturdy and perty…just what I wanted
HEAVY which is not a bad thing….but delivery guy could not get it up my stairs or even tell me it was sitting out on my stairs in the snow. I had to wait til I got my daughter home to help me get it up inside.Otherwisetook a few few hours to put it together and needed my husbands help to hold things up. BUT I knew this was going to be awesome when I got it together. Instructions were easy to follow. SO sturdy and such beautiful rustic color. Love the barn doors and all the storage it gives me. The popup top table option is so cool. Lets me work easier on the couch :-). Nice smooth movement of the top when closing it…you just need to lift forward with two hands and let it close by itself. Don’t force it it will go with the hydraulics. Just love the details.

Table top lift direction can be reversed
Many of the reviews I read state that they would like the lift direction for the table top to be opposite so the doors can face away from the couch into the room and the top to lift toward the couch. If you assemble per the directions the top will lift toward the doors which will “hide” them on the couch side.To resolve this you have to make a few changes when assembling:1. When attaching the legs to the end pieces, you have to do this in reverse. Install the legs for end piece 14 onto end piece 13 and vice versa.2. When installing end pieces and legs to the main unit, do the opposite the directions show you. Install piece 13 where it shows 14 and vice versa.3. When installing the table top, rotate it 180 degrees.If you assemble with these changes the top will then lift toward the back of the unit and you can then face the doors to the center of the room and have the top lift toward the couch.As far as quality, it is an average unit for this price point. Parts fit together well and it seems solid. The top does have to be raised with both hands as stated in the directions or else it will not lift evenly. The wood veneer appears to be good quality and the finish does not look fake.Overall, for the price I’d say it is a solid buy and worth it.

Qualtiy but not user friendly.
Heavy duty item but top opens to the barn door side intstead of to the sofa side which makes it not user friendly. The product is of good quaility.
