Awesome fan. Only need on switch, no need for separate fan and light switches. App is pretty easy to use and has a decent amount of features.

I have 3 of these in different rooms, but each install was a challenge. I’m not a tradesman, but I’m pretty handy with tools and DIY most things around the house; of the jobs I’ve done (which include flooring, installing thermostats, fixing broken trusses & joists, etc), I’d rate this as moderate to high difficulty to install.The whole thing seems modular, but it really isn’t..? Each fan I had to basically install in one go, which can be challenging technically and athletically.This install requires working with electrical wires; I highly recommend getting a voltage tester and/or multimeter of some sort. The controller box and all wiring basically get stuffed up above in the cylindrical shroud.Assuming you’re retrofitting this onto an existing electrical box, you may need to get an adapter plate or kit from your hardware store; the hardware provided seems to only fit 1 size of box/fixture..?I also needed to get a ceiling medalian/trim ring to help hide the seam between the included shroud and the ceiling itself, but your ceiling might be in better shape than mine.Once installed, the product itself is fine. The controls work well enough. Sometimes it can wig out and the lights behave strangely, but that’s not a big deal. The lights look fine, the fan is quiet and moves a lot of air… overall, we’re very satisfied, but I’m glad I don’t have to install any others!

Difficult install.
First, this is a hard install if you have a house older than 20 years, the wiring coming from my ceiling were very hard to bend and maneuver. The ground wire on the downrod ball was cheap and the screw was stripped as I unscrewed the damn thing, had to go to Menards, but the wire was easy to cut which made it hard when stripping the wire. The large cover was too small for the ceiling bracket and I was only able to use one screw to hook the cover into as the other side wasn’t able to lineup or reach cuz it was too small for bracket. Had a very hard time hiding wires cuz of the size. Hopefully this thing holds up, this was not the easiest to put together. Maybe cuz I’m not an electrician.

If my old ceiling fan was a clunky, wheezy uncle who fell asleep during family gatherings, the Lumary is the smooth-talking, cool-breeze celebrity who just walked in and stole the show.First of all, the halo light. Oh my goodness. I didn’t know I needed a halo in my life until this fan showed up, looking like it descended straight from ceiling-fan heaven. The way it glows around the edges AND has a main light? It’s like the fan is saying, “I’m here for both mood lighting and your retinas, darling.”And let’s talk about the quiet. I mean, it’s so silent, I keep looking up to make sure it’s actually on. With my old fan, the highest setting sounded like a helicopter trying to escape my living room. This one? Smooth, whisper-quiet, even at top speed. If ninjas made ceiling fans, they’d make this one.We’ve loved our Lumary outdoor lights for a while now, so we already knew this was a brand we could trust. But this fan still managed to exceed our expectations… beautiful, silent, and cooling the room without turning it into a wind tunnel.Bottom line: 10/10 would buy again. Lumary, you’ve officially ruined us for all other ceiling fans & now I want to replace the other fans in our home but it’s currently not in the budget 😅

Great fan with awesome lights
Love this fan. It is everything that we were looking for. The features are great in terms of fan speed, the various lights. It looks great in the room and also silent.Love the feature where it can simulate like a nature breeze where it increases and decreases speed to give that sensation.Remote is great and you can add multiple remotes which is awesome.Reason why the 4 stars is because of its integration to Google Home/Alexa. It is easy to connect, but not easy to use via voice commands. This is true for most Lumary products where it has so many weird setting that connecting to external systems get confusing. Like for this fan itself it probably has 4/5 separate controls that get added.Also creating automation on the Lumary app also is not very straightforward, but doable.

Cool features, wish it were whiter, brighter light
Such a cool ceiling fan! Got this for our boys’ room and it’s great, many features with a quiet, really good fan. One drawback, as other reviews have mentioned, is that it’s not as bright as I would expect. Our other two bedrooms have ceiling fans with lights that are bright and white, the brightest this goes is pretty dim and is not white, more of a blueish note to the light, which changes the way the colors in the room look. We do have a couple lamps which helps but this is a feature to consider. It’s up now, so we’re not taking it down.
