A Heavy-Duty Storage Powerhouse (Worth the Assembly Time!)
I’ll be honest right out of the gate: this table is a project. If you are looking for a “five-minute” assembly, this isn’t it. There are quite a few pieces and pieces of hardware to keep track of, so I highly recommend setting aside a dedicated two-hour window and clearing some floor space. However, the instructions were clear, and as long as you stay organized, the process is straightforward rather than frustrating.The effort is 100% worth it once you see the finished product. The first thing I noticed was the weight and density. It doesn’t have that hollow, lightweight feel of typical “flat-pack” furniture. The wood feels solid and sturdy, providing a rigid base that doesn’t wobble when you lean on it or move it. It’s a relief to find a piece that doesn’t feel like it’s made of flimsy particle board that will strip or crack within a year.Visually, the design is a perfect blend of styles. The farmhouse aesthetic is very trendy right now, but the clean white finish gives it a modern edge that keeps it from feeling too rustic. The hardware on the barn doors is heavy-duty and slides smoothly, adding a nice tactile quality to the piece. It instantly brightened up my living room and looks much more expensive than it actually was.The storage capacity is where this table truly sets itself apart from standard coffee tables. The hidden compartment under the lift top is surprisingly deep and roomy. I’ve managed to tuck away several thick throw blankets and all my stray remotes, which has completely cleared the usual clutter from my tabletop. The lift mechanism itself is sturdy and stays in place well, making it a great makeshift desk for a laptop.Finally, the side cabinets with the barn doors offer even more organizational flexibility. I love the convenient design of this table. I bought it for my family room. My husband can work on it using the top compartment while we watch TV. It’s very nice, good quality, has several compartments for storage, is made of sturdy material, and is easy to assemble.

Wobbly Top – Otherwise Perfect!
Let’s start with the assembly. Keep in mind that I took a couple of breaks in between. It took me about three hours assembling it by myself. Everything was marked very clearly, and all of the pieces fit together perfectly. The most aggravating part of the whole assembly process was taking off the stickers. I had a bottle of Goo Gone handy, and that helped a lot.This table has a LOT of storage room, which I absolutely love, especially the top part. I have some things that I want to keep out of sight, and they’re too large to really store anywhere. Those items fit in the top section perfectly, with room to spare. Between the height and the width, there’s so much room for so many items. And I love how tall it is.It looks absolutely beautiful – I really love the farmhouse look to it. In my opinion, I think that the quality of the material is slightly above average. It’s not real wood, but who’s really going to know? It LOOKS like real wood, and that’s good enough for me.Now for the reason why I deducted a star. Although the top looks and functions wonderfully, it doesn’t work well for flooring that’s not carpeted. I have laminate floor in my office, and I have to brace it with my knee when I close it. Otherwise, it slides. The feet are not skid-proof. Even when holding the top at both ends, I still can’t put it down without having it slide on my floor. Not a huge deal, and it might not happen on a carpeted floor, but rubber boots on the legs might have helped a lot.Overall, I’m totally in love with this table. I think that the price is definitely comparable to other tables that look this nice and have this much storage.

Elegant and useful
I love my coffee table! It’s very useful for me because I can use it as a desk while I’m in the living room. I store my things inside since it has a hidden compartment, and I can put my decorations on top. It was easy to assemble without any problems, and the color is elegant. It’s also easy to clean.

Lets be candid –
Better than expected, but not amazing.
The materials themselves are mediocre. A little less than you would get with Ikea for example. The instructions are clear, but could be more efficient. Assembly is straightforward and not complicated, the various parts and screws are labeled well and fit properly. The top itself is more sturdy that I thought it would be when unpacking it and while it does lift easily, you do want to make sure to lift it from both sides or it WILL open unevenly. But when it’s extended it’s just the right height.I think it’s an odd choice to have the doors on only one side/on the side away from the direction of opening, but I understand why.Over all this isn’t a bad version of a storage coffee table, not the best out there, not the worst.
