Once a year I host a Hanukah party for several families and their children. These blue dishes are just perfect for entertaining. The blue color is vibrant with a glossy finish. They are lightweight but plenty sturdy for an occasional meal. It is so nice for children or use outside. The price is great for a set of six. I purchased four sets and plan to hand wash.

Pretty but not practical in my kitchen
This is the prettiest melamine I’ve ever seen and I so wanted to keep them.I had my first melamine (“Melmac” back in the day) when I started college several decades ago and never heard of a microwave oven and had seen very few dishwashers.I forgot all about how I enjoy these appliances daily now.I’m going to send a note when I donate them stating “Not Microwave or Dishwasher Safe.”But they are so pretty!!!
