Make sure your ceiling is flat and not angled.
These lights are wonderful and love the style, however, we purchased for our updating in the kitchen and when the electrician came he was not able to install as our ceiling is slanted and would need extended work to go into the attic and rewire. Needless to say, we were disappointed as I had carefully picked them for over my new island. Probably too long to return but may try.

Lamp is all black
I was under the impression that the lamps were black on the outside and gold on the inside. I should have looked closer so this is my own fault. The lamp is beautiful and well made but the picture is a little deceiving. The gold color you see in the pic is a cast off of the amber light bulbs themselves. They are included so that is really nice. I’m keeping it because I still like the look.Will update after installation. I’m still happy with my purchase.

Weak mounting. Dim bulbs.
The mount is not adequate. The circular metal part that connects to the ceiling electrical box is the same size as the hole in the drywall. Hence, the mount does not securely and firmly connect to the ceiling. That piece should be slightly larger than the hole and still fit in rectangular black mount (the part you see) that connects to it.The bulbs are VERY dim. I see no other option that to replace them with something brighter.I do like the looks of the unit.
