Second home I’ve put these fans in. They’re so quiet and well balanced you have to look to see if they’re on. I also don’t like to see the fan in most rooms and these are sleek and you don’t hardly notice them and yet they still put out a good air flow. Mine run almost all year

Hunter fan quality and dependability speaks for itself. Have been using them for over thirty years. Assembly is consistent with enclosed instructions. Whisper quiet when running. Fits nicely into our bedrooms and the nook. The remote is very flexible for use when dimming lights and when increasing and lowering the speed of the fan blades. Works in reverse to push air down or up via a switch located inside the light globe area. I bought three of these for my new home.

This model isn’t very fancy (sole feature is a Hunter remote control, that is, no wifi app or smart speaker capability, etc.), but it works well, the price is good and it is pretty easy to install per Hunter SOP. Mine replaces a lower-quality builder-installed damp-rated ceiling fan in my covered porch, and the cosmetics and operation of this model are a much better fit. I’m pleased.I would have given a full 5 stars except that I wasn’t pleased with my initial customer support experience when I called in while still shopping Hunter models. I’ve bought and installed many Hunters during my life, so I was floored at the rep’s less than courteous treatment of this consumer’s legit questions regarding the currently available product models I was then considering. Candidly, I’m sharing this because Hunter nearly lost my loyal business over that prospect call experience. (That is, if this is how a consumer gets treated by staff before the purchase decision, one wonders how a purchaser would be treated when he/she needed installation advice or warranty assistance afterward.) I trust this poor pre-sale experience was just an anomaly…Anyway, the hardware *is* a good value. 👍👍

Hunter never disappoints. Gorgeous. Works well. Remote controls speed and light. LOVE the dimming feature. If I had one “druther” , I wish it had an additional extender to drop it a bit lower. Might be able to purchase locally, if depth is important.

Buyer Beware: Faulty Product With Even Worse Customer Support
Summary: You can expect to waste 3+ hours of your time or your worse your electricians time,to install the fan, work through horrible support to determine you have a faulty product they don’t want to warranty, and then tear out fan and re-box and return the item.Details: I received the fan and installed it, only to find out that the remote receiver was faulty. I contacted Hunter fan support and waited 20+ minutes for them to confirmed the fan remote receiver was faulty. They then said that they would email information on the warranty part and that I needed to reply to the email with the proof of purchase. I immediately did as they asked and emailed the proof of purchase from Amazon. After waiting a week and not hearing back from the email, I again contacted customer support again by phone. After waiting 30+ minutes for help, I asked if they shipped the replacement part. They said they would look into it. They confirmed they had not shipped the replacement as the proof of purchase was sent from a mobile device and they only accept receipts that are sent from desktop computers. They said I would need to locate a desktop computer to send them a different copy of the receipt/proof of purchase. They cannot accept receipts sent from mobile devices. I instead choose to return the item as I do not have access to a desktop computer. I highly recommend not purchasing Hunter Fans as their support is designed to be frustrate you so they can decline clear warranty parts for ridiculous reasons.

Great ceiling fan.
We mounted this ceiling fan in the family room. It’s incredibly quiet and the remote control is so much easier than trying to deal with pull chains. It’s very high quality – love the nickel finish. Very easy to install.

Great quality fans. Work well- light and fan are operated by the hand held remote. Also can use an on/off switch at the entrance to the room. Great replacement for my old fans in the bedrooms. Purchased four of them.. Electrician said they were well made and installed easily.
