Smells amazing.
I received the Florida candle from by brother for Christmas and it smells amazing (havent lit it yet because it reminds me of summer and well I live in Massachusetts so I’ll hold off until the warmer days ) and I sent him the Massachusetts scent and he said it smells so good and reminds him of home. So I would definitely recommend- especially if someone has moved away and misses home this will definitely be a great

This is my favorite candle of all time right now! It’s strong without being overpowering, it smells like you’re actually baking, so cozy. I can even smell it unlit. It’s obviously a little pricey for its size, I’d consider this a medium candle but it’s priced like a large one. But I do really love it so I keep buying them, the price is not a deal breaker!

Smells great and really did remind me of South Carolina
I was born and raised right in the middle of South Carolina, so when I bought one of these during our terrible “shutdown year” of 2020 I just loved the scent. It really did remind me of some of the scents of home and it smelled a bit flowery without seeming too feminine for me (I usually prefer masculine scents).In other words they did a good job with all of the Notes (different kinds of smells in it).I also sent one of these as a gift to a girl friend in Seattle and she was really pleased with it.So there are really only two issues with this candle: it’s not large, and so it only has space for a single wick.But it did “throw” the scent pretty well and burned evenly all the way down to the bottom.The other issue is the price — at nearly $40 they aren’t cheap! But I don’t regret having purchased it and as a matter of fact I think I’m going to buy another one someday, and I’d also like to try to make my own version of it just for fun.Since I got this one from Homesick I’ve also bought a bunch of different kinds of candles from Goose Creek and Tuscany for about $10 to $15 apiece. Most of Goose Creek candles are very good and the shipping speed from Kentucky to LA was OK but slow compared to Amazon Prime. Most all of the Tuscany brand are mediocre in my opinion, but some are pretty good. None of them smelled like South Carolina though 🙂

Scent seems to have changed
I’ve purchased this Homesick Florida candle several times now, and my newest candle does not smell the same as previous ones. I am not sure if the formula changed but I am so disappointed, as the previous ones were absolutely perfect. Go back to the previous recipe, Homesick!

I bought as a gift for a family member who used to go to school in Michigan. His daughter now lives there and they miss her. So the gift was for his memories of Michigan and to remind them of their daughter. I asked them if it smelled of michigan and they said YESSS.

I ordered the Homesick Hawaii but I believe I received either a factory second or not the genuine article. The wax was very yellow, not white, and it was mottled, blotchy, and full of small fibres. The sides showed what looked like large oily patches, as if it wasn’t blended properly. Amazon customer service was great, as usual, and I returned the item. Scent was mild but pleasant.
