Sturdy Shelving Brackets!
I bought to convert a spare coat closet into a pantry and love the look of metal and wood. The package arrived sooner than expected and was quick to put together (just a bunch of screwing pipes/fittings together). I chose to rest the pipe on the floor instead of hanging it from the ceiling as it gave me more space on the floor to use. This made installation easy. The pipes lines up perfectly and the shelves I bought from Home Depot fit like they came with the bracket. The shelves were $11 each at HD, 11.75” wide and they cut them to size for no extra cost. I do wish the shelves were wood, but what can ya do. I am enjoying how the white blends into the walls though. I’m not overly handy but I assembled and installed this all on my one in about 1.5 hours. Overall, great purchase!

Sturdy when properly installed
Manage expectations- These are not professional grade black iron pipe. They are light weight aluminum. They are very strong when installed correctly, but may appear flimsy at first glance or when connecting.They are sized with standard 3/4 MIP threads and will fit commercial iron or galvanized 3/4 pipe if you want to augment (I needed mine 6” taller so added a short segment). That said- the pipe sections and fittings may not appear fully square or even wobble if you try to intentionally bend them or hold them out flat they may sag slightly. For me- this was actually beneficial as I am mounting this to plaster and lathe walls and the wall surface is not flat, the slight give allows for a good fit on uneven walls.The box comes with hardware and anchors to mount to drywall – which I DO NOT Recommend. I purchased 2.5” #8 drywall screws and anchored the horizontal brackets into studs.Once installed securely into studs with the base secured to the floor the shelves can easily old hundreds of pounds. If hanging from a ceiling, probably less.It was easy to put together. It took me a long time to measure it out and make sure it was level, plumb, and square.Note! This did’t come with any shelves. I found some rough edge wood 12 3/4” wide to set on the pipes, and secured them with pipe clips. Also note: 3/4 in is the named pipe size – the pipe is actually 0.95” (1”) outer diameter so keep that in mind if looking for pipe clips.Tl;dr. May appear flimsy when connecting- but very strong if mounted into studs with good screws.

Used these in my pantry. I love the look but some of the pipes do not screw in tight when you need to turn them to mount to a stud.
