How easy it was to put together
Very easy to put together nice black simple futon with a USB ports came really fast. The price was fantastic. I would suggest anybody to buy it for any extra room or just for gas or whatever I’m very satisfied.

This is okay. It’s really low to the ground so if you have a hard time getting up and down then this is Not the couch for you.The middle part with the cup holders isn’t easy to put together and I gave up. When the couch is laying flat there is a bump so it’s not flush. Which I don’t like.The couch isn’t very soft and not too comfortable tbh. Your bum might get a little tired after a while if you sit for too long.The arm rest/cushions are Not attached.I wouldn’t buy this again nor would I recommend it to someone. It was a pain and a half to assemble. It’d be fine as a couch for a dog or two. Or a single cat.

I bought this more for the seating function over the bed/futon function just to make more seating for my home office.This futon will not accommodate an adult lying down; though it is perfect if you have kids or nieces and nephews as they will be able to fit on it to lay down or sleep.It is made with quality material, though a bit on the firm side for sleep. Instructions are easy to follow and took about a half hour to build. It does sit pretty close to the ground but is a good place to sit, featuring two cupholders when in the chair position and USB and Type C charging ports on one side. Very simple to convert into the bed position.If you are seeking a futon to use as a bed for adults, this is not the one. Your legs will be hanging off the end. Perfect for kids, however; you might consider getting a mattress pad of the same dimensions as, like I said, it is quite firm.This product works for me as it provides additional seating for my office that is relatively comfortable. Great for when the nieces and nephews come over on the weekends. It provides an additional space for one of them to sleep in my house. They love it and they can charge their tablets on it.

Shabby, poor construction
Poor construction, and exorbitant price. The four corner legs are tack welded onto a base plate. The welds snap apart easily if you lean on a leg while assembling or when moving the futon. The two center legs are plastic and fasten across hinges that hold both futon halves together. After you have assembled the futon and begin to turn it right side up, the plastic leg bases across the hinges flex or bend easily to the breaking point, caution is advised. The center armrest with cup holders is not hinged. Its frame is screwed to each half with two screws. The frame itself is very fragile, and the glue joints will break apart if you are not very careful. Instead of a hinge on the center armrest, it has a strip of fabric containing a small piece of cardboard. The fabric keeps it from being pulled out and off, but it in no way acts as a hinge or keeps it straight. The cardboard insert simply covers up the gap between the back of the armrest and the back of the futon.You might think well, it was only $99. Nope, that is a misdirect also. There is an additional $99 shipping cost. So total cost is $200. I had bought a futon for our storm cellar two years ago for $139, with shipping. It was sturdy, and no plastic or cardboard. There are better futons elsewhere. I would have returned this one, but they wanted $75 return shipping.P.S.I am posting this update several weeks later. The company reached out to me and made things right in my view. I am satisfied with what they proposed and followed through on.
