All in 1 fast transfer notification camera system
I was tired of having independent cameras and four different locations to access my home security so I invested in this 4 unit high speed transfer system, and I have been pleased. Below is some of my notes regarding this system in comparison to my old system.Be sure to use the correct diagram for placing the screws in both the camera attachment and the solar panel Holder, see my photos. Make sure you remove both pieces of cellophane from the lens of the camera. The little plastic rubber pieces are to go in the hole where the solar panel attaches to the camera. Be sure to place them into the camera, especially when used in an outside application.The size of the solar panel is 1/2 the size of older models, I have had this solar panel already in a location for two years and have had no issues difficulties or inability to charge. It has been working fine. The solar panel has high efficiency composite which delivers the power output at double the conversion rate.A simple screwdriver releases the camera from the back plate that may be already installed very easily.C adapter cords are used in all phases of this unit, which includes the independent wifi 6 tower and the ability to recharge the camera.MicroSD card goes in the HomeBase not in each individual camera and stores up to 256 GBThis makes it much easier to retrieve the SD card instead of climbing up to the camera And releasing it. Only 1 card needed.Very easy to set up, especially if it’s connected to a active router, you don’t have to put any information in to the system to get things started. It was the quickest camera system. I’ve set up so far.Depending on the type of service you need, you may need to purchase the iCloud plan, but it is NOT required to run the units as long as you have an SD card in it.Camera has wide angle lens, it also has a siren that can be activated and microphone if you’re wanting to speak with the people in the place where the unit isHD setting is better quality it is adjustable in the settings of the appAll 4 cameras are preloaded to the homebase so once you connect it, your cameras are ALL connected.It is beneficial to read the Quickstart guideI located the 4 cameras in all 4 extremities of the house, including the lower basement, and found that there was no deviation in service in anyway, and that the booster tower covered the area in which they were in, I live in a 1400 square-foot home including 1400 ft.² in the basement.MOST IMPORTANTLY The response time for notification does appear to be three times faster than any other system I have used. So this wifi6 homebase booster that plugs in off of your Internet connection does perform.At night when you approach one of these camera in darkness, the spotlight does activate and start recording if in the full color mode.The response time for notification is definitely faster than any other set of cameras I have ever used in the past. The 15 to 30 second delay that other cameras have seems to be so much better with this unit.The camera material itself is very upstanding hard plastic, during the installation, I dropped the camera from a 6 foot distance on a concrete surface and it did not even phase it, it barely put a scratch on it, which reflects high-quality materials and workmanship.The night vision mode has two settings, infrared, and full color. Infrared uses a red light technology where the lights do not come on in the event you’re trying to be incognito with the camera, and full color mode turns the LED lights on so that your picture is in color and clear, however people approaching definitely know the camera was turned on. In infrared mode, they don’t necessarily have that bright light warning that there is a camera up there, and also in infrared sometimes the images appear in black-n-white.When the camera is recording at a distance, automobiles can be seen clearly at a distance.The piece of equipment is very attractive and a compliment to your property.

For the most part, it is a pretty good camera system. But it is not top-notch. It is responsive to send notifications – if it detects something. Many times it catches movement immediately – other times it doesn’t see the motion at all, or stops the recording too quickly, if the subject pauses for a moment or two – and then does not pick up when it starts moving again. But for my needs, it is better than the options that I was looking at. I use it as a ‘trail cam’ to see the critters on my deck and back yard and bought this primarily because most trail cams do not record for much more than 30 seconds and their lag time usually misses most things. If the conditions are perfect, it will easily take extended videos – which is great! The daytime image quality is excellent. This system performs very well in night vision but only because I also have a motion sensing light – so when a critter walks by the light turns on – thus providing a perfect video for the camera to take. Here is an image that only used night vision because the light could not detect motion that far. As you the tell, the image is good, but not great. I specifically bought this system because the cloud service was not required – but that doesn’t stop it from harassing you constantly to use the cloud. The videos are stored in the base-station provided, which was better than on a card. However, if I used this as a true security camera the intruder would probably be in your house, took what they wanted and were halfway out of town if you were hoping to see the image on your phone. The camera only pans if you are in a certain screen – which sometimes takes a while to get to – and you have to manually pan the camera. So, again, if you are in a hurry – this won’t be of much use. Battery life is very good, especially if your solar panel is in the ideal location. There, it can last for months. If it runs out of a charge, it just takes a few hours to charge it in the house with a usb charger. I really like the solar feature – it is excellent. Set up is hit or miss. Sometimes the setup is a piece of cake, then you try setting up another camera and it is frustratingly difficult. Again, for my needs as a trail cam it works good – not great – but not bad. However, I have considered getting another set to actually use as a security camera, due to the quick notification response. That is all I would use it for in order to know when someone is coming down the driveway, if my dogs don’t let me know first.

Great pictures. Extremely hard to setup. Instructions on resetting and adding the cameras was Extremely time consuming and difficult to locate the correct solution. Kept referring to a sim-card. No sim card in the IP Wireless cameras. I didn’t realize the storage restrictions and the lack of clarity in the add. Don’t buy if you are not a good techie.

La telecamera di sorveglianza esterna COOAU è progettata per offrire una protezione semplice e affidabile per la casa. L’ho utilizzata per monitorare il giardino durante la mia assenza, montandola all’esterno vicino all’ingresso di casa.Il montaggio è stato intuitivo, e la connessione Wi-Fi si è stabilita senza problemi. Appena accesa, la telecamera ha iniziato a fornire immagini chiare e dettagliate, anche in condizioni di scarsa luce, grazie alla visione notturna. Ho apprezzato molto la funzione di avviso di movimento, che mi ha informato di eventuali movimenti nel campo di visione.Tuttavia, ho riscontrato alcuni limiti: la qualità audio non è all’altezza del video, risultando spesso disturbata. Inoltre, la vera capacità di rotazione della telecamera è limitata da ostacoli nella sua visuale, e la risposta dell’app nei momenti di picco di attività è stata un po’ lenta.Tra i vantaggi, ci sono sicuramente la facilità di installazione, la qualità delle immagini e l’ottima copertura con la rotazione. Tra gli svantaggi, la qualità audio e una certa lentezza dell’app in situazioni di traffico elevato.
