Beautiful, sturdy, unbreakable dinnnerware!
These are the prettiest and most durable melamine dishes EVER! I wanted a colorful, non-breakable set for our 5th wheel RV and these fit the bill PERFECTLY! They are sturdy and absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend!

Beautiful patterned plates
Wow! These are so colorful and pretty. These match a variety of different table clothes and napkins. They are easy to clean and look wonderful on the table for a dinner party. The variety of sizes are great for a main dinner plate as well as a salad plate with the bowl can be used for soup or dessert.

Attractive and sturdy
Very good quality finish. Not heavy but substantial. Colors bright. I wash by hand even though I don’t use the heat dry in the dishwasher and I haven’t used them in the microwave as I’d like to keep the nice new look as long as possible. So far, I haven’t noticed any scratches from the silverware. I will be getting more in other patterns. Gives nice presentation without looking like the old fashioned melamine.

Beautiful, mimic real china, not microwavable
Beautiful, unbreakable, mimic real china. Rated highly by Consumer Reports, which is why I chose them. Unfortuately not microwavable and recommend only the top shelf of dishwasher, which wouldn’t work with large plates.

Practical Elegance
I never knew what the big deal was about melamine dishes. I always thought they were just an expensive version of cheesy plastic plates. With a need to have a nice set of poolside unbreakable dishes, I decided to take the plunge and I purchased a set of Portofinos. When they arrived (in perfect condition), I finally understood what the fuss was all about. These are definitely NOT cheesy… the pattern is beautiful, colors are vivid, and I love the weight of each piece. You can’t put them in the microwave and although they are dishwasher safe, instructions say to put them in the top shelf. I’ll most likely hand wash these to make sure they last a long while. Since I liked the first set so much (not to mention a great price), I immediately ordered a second! How’s that for a great endorsement! Highly recommend.
