Does this bookshelf need to be attached to the floor? What if I do not want to drill into the tile floor?
This ladder bookshelf is best fixed to the floor for greater stability.But according to other buyers who only attached the shelf to the wall and not screw to the floor,it’s also very sturdy.
Is the depth of the shelf 10 inches or 7.4 inches? Both are listed in different places.
The board is 9 and 3/4 inches but when attached to the wall it sits 3/16 inches from the wall. Thus from the wall to the front is 10 and 1/16 inches.
Is the color of the wood shelves more grey or brown?
The shelves are brown with gray/ white highlights. These are only visible from up close.Otherwise it appears as brown shelving!
Is this able to be assembled using only 5 shelves instead of 6?
Yes, you could assemble it to be as many shelves as you’d like. It comes with several pieces and you’d just screw on the end piece after the last shelf you choose.
Can I purchase an additional shelf and pipes to make this taller?
We do not sell extra shelves at the moment, but we will add a 5 tiers and 7 tiers shelves option,so we can meet the needs of a wider range of buyers.

Great sturdy wood shelf with metal pipes
I’m very happy with this wooden wall shelf. The material is wood, sturdy, easy to put together (did it by myself) and fit alllll the legos! I don’t love the wood color but when the legos are on it it looks great. FromThe side the wood has a nicer finish so even though I thought about staining it I decided not too. I used my own anchors but had a tough time with them being too small. I’mGoing to have to go back and fix but that’s my fault. The pipes and screws provided are great-just not their anchors. Highly recommend. I might get another shelf from them for my other room.

Perfect industrial look bookshelf
Surprised how good the quality was for the price. Metal is real metal and wood seems to be real wood. Pretty much twist on and off each section to put together. No question it is a very sturdy piece of furniture. Bought it over other bookshelves because the reviews said it was solid … and indeed it did turn out to be very solid. I’m very pleased and would recommend. Now I just need some things to fill the shelves.

Easy to install and excellent quality!
We moved into our house a year ago and I couldn’t figure out what to put in this space. We considered installing our own shelves but then I found this! It fit the space and looks great! You can see in the bottom of the picture we ended up removing the bottom shelf and the feet that came with it in order to account for the narrow space of the baseboard but it was a quick fix and still looks great. This is also the EASIEST piece of furniture I’ve ever installed. It took me 10 mins all by myself and then my husband drilled in the top part to the wall. Still have some decorating to do but we couldn’t be happier. The wood is real and the other materials are good quality.

Looks great, not super sturdy
Putting the shelf together was simple and it looks nice. The shelf is not super study though. Word of advice, DO NOT use the drywall anchors that come with the shelf; buy your own. The instructions say to use a 5/16 drill bit and the included anchors. The anchors are terrible; the 5/16 bit was too big and the anchors went right through the wall when we tried to put the screws in. It was a huge frustration to put eight holes in the wall that we then had to patch up and repaint over because the included materials are terrible. Luckily a couple of the screws line up with the studs so it’s fairly sturdy, but use our own anchors.

Awesome Shelf for a Great Price!
The shelf is very sturdy and built well. I did not expect the quality to be so good. I honestly don’t think you could build one with parts from the hardware store for less money. It was not very difficult to assemble, but it would have been easier if the were unions used with the pipes. I had to turn the whole shelf to tighten it. I also added some lights and the wires were difficult to snake through the pipes but I had planned on that not being easy. I did need help hanging the shelf. I don’t think it can be done without help. I am extremely happy with the product and have got several compliments. Now I have to buy one for my mom because she likes mine so much. Shipping was super fast, it got to my house 1 day before I expected it. Thanks, I will be buying another one as soon as it gets back in stock

It looks great. Steel pipe, knotty pine shelves. Some pics show plywood shelves, they’re solid wood. Toss the “instructions ” . If you’re halfway handy you can install alone. It’s easy to hang level by yourself, but tricky to get each one tight to the wall. Np. You can’t see it unless you’re reviewing the shelves and taking pictures. Buy it.
