This lamp is big – a full 20 inches – and it absolutely dominates the visual space in my open kitchen and breakfast area. If you’re looking for something subtle, this isn’t it. But if you want a bold, modern centerpiece that draws the eye the moment you walk in, this fixture delivers.The build quality is solid. The shade feels like aluminum alloy, so it’s lightweight but still sturdy. The matte exterior paired with the gold-finished interior creates a beautiful warm reflection when the light is on. It’s a simple design, but the scale and finish make it look far more expensive than it is.One thing to note: it only accommodates a single E26 bulb. That’s the main limitation. To get the brightness I needed, I paired it with a 100W equivalent 4000K LED bulb. That color temperature gives a pleasant warm neutral tone – bright enough for task lighting without drifting into that harsh blue-white look.Because of its size, this lamp really shines (literally and figuratively) in spaces with higher ceilings. Both the diameter and the height of the shade make it feel more proportional in a room with some vertical space. Under a standard low ceiling, it might feel oversized.Overall, this fixture completely transformed the look of my space. It adds a touch of luxury – almost a “modern palace” vibe – without being overly ornate. If you want a dramatic, stylish pendant light that becomes the focal point of the room, this is a fantastic choice.
