Nice shape and style
This set looks very nice. Quite durable, light and a decent quality. Because of how they look and feel, I’m less careful about handling them and certainly not worried if I dropped them. However, I did some research on melamine as a material for serving food etc. Differing opinions and warnings out there, but the main ones are to avoid putting acidic foods or foods that are too hot on the plates and in the bowls, etc. While the risk may be minimal, I am still careful. Thus far, I’ve used them for summer foods (cold) and grabbed them while cooking or prepping to cook. Also, they can’t go into the microwave. So. Given all of that, they may have a relatively short shelf life in my kitchen. Thank you

I ordered these for our camper. They do elevate us to glamping with their elegant look. It’s been two years since our unbreakable glass plates flew out of our cupboards and shattered everywhere, and we continue finding splinters of them each time we camp. I think these Melamine plates will stay put in the cabinets. If they do break, it won’t be in tiny pieces everywhere. What I like best about this set is the deep cereal/soup bowls. The bowl holds more than two cups of water. The sides of the plates are sloped, which is great for keeping liquids from spilling. If you are looking for practical and elegant, you’ll love this set.
