    Fantastic, Hassle-Free, Fee-Free Security Cam!
I was specifically looking for a robust outdoor camera system that didn’t require monthly fees, and the aosu cameras delivered. The installation was incredibly easy—a true DIY job since they are completely wireless and solar-powered. I haven’t had to worry about charging them once! The video quality is excellent, with clear 2K resolution and impressive color night vision. Having secure local storage on the included Homebase provides total peace of mind without the burden of recurring subscription costs. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting simple, effective, and budget-friendly outdoor monitoring.

    AOSU Keeps Getting It Right
AOSU Keeps Getting It Right – My Go-To Cameras for YearsI’ve been an AOSU customer for several years now and have gradually equipped my entire property with a number of their cameras (indoor & outdoor models, floodlight models, stationary and tracking versions, and now this excellent solar-powered 2-cam kit). Every single unit has been rock-solid, and I honestly can’t remember the last time one went offline for any reason other than my own Wi-Fi hiccup. What continues to blow me away is how ridiculously easy they are to set up. I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve had new cameras unboxed, mounted, and streaming crisp 2K video in under ten minutes—sometimes closer to five. Scan the QR code, follow a couple of prompts, and you’re done. No complicated port forwarding, no DDNS nonsense, no subscription traps. Just works.Picture quality is outstanding day or night—the color night vision on these solar PTZ cams is genuinely impressive, and the auto-tracking actually follows people smoothly instead rather than jerking around like some other brands I’ve tried. The 360° coverage means I finally have zero blind spots around the house. Being completely solar-powered with the built-in panels is a game-changer; I mounted them in places I never could have run power or even a long charging cable to.Battery life is excellent even during cloudy weeks, and the app remains snappy and full-featured without nagging me to upgrade to some overpriced cloud plan every time I open it (local storage to microSD works perfectly). In short, AOSU has earned my repeat business the old-fashioned way: reliable products that just work, painless setup, and great performance at a fair price. If you’re on the fence, go for it—these are the cameras I recommend to all my friends and family without hesitation. This latest 2-cam solar kit is yet another home run.Keep it up, AOSU!

    Perfect solar security cameras
This security camera system works incredibly well. I couldn’t be happier with it. The solar panels keep our cameras at 100%. The app is very easy easy to use and also share. The video quality is very clear and can be saved. The cameras follow moving objects and have an incredible range. Occasionally that includes a bird flying in front of it, but they can be programmed to track only humans. We use ours for humans and wildlife. We’ve had the cameras for 6 months and recommended them to friends who have also purchased them.

    Great cameras
My husband and I bought these camera to monitor around our home. We didn’t want to pay a subscription, but wanted to be able to save the surveillance footage. These cameras did that for us. The app is easy to download on your phone and setting up the cameras is simple. While there is an option to purchase a subscription, you don’t have to. The footage saves to the home base for a while and you can download any video you want to keep, which comes in handy. We love that the cameras are solar powered, but for those cameras that need installed where they won’t get any sun exposure, they supply a charging cord to charge them, and the cameras pop off their mounts easily to be able to take them in to charge them. We’ve only had 2 issues with the cameras: one of our cameras batteries wouldn’t hold a charge after 7 months of use. I contacted the support team, and Lynette was able to help me out. She and IT were able to run an upgrade to the home base which solved our problem, as the cameras is now holding a charge again. Our other issue is there is a delay between when the camera senses motion and when it starts recording, so it can miss events sometimes. Otherwise, we’ve been very pleased with our cameras. They’ve done what we needed them to and they are affordable. The picture is good and the color quality is excellent. These have met our needs and have given us peace of mind knowing we have home security and can easily access any video we may need. I definitely recommend these cameras for those who want an affordable, subscription free option for home surveillance.

Overall, I am happy with these cameras. They were easy to setup, good video and are working well. They are maintaining their charge, even though one camera is not getting direct sun. I really like the pan feature and how it tracks movement.I did have an issue with a battery on one camera. I contacted customer service and Julie was able to quickly diagnose the issue and had a replacement sent to me very quickly.Good product and good customer service.

I’m really impressed with these AOSU cameras. The installation was straightforward, and the setup/synchronization process is one of the best I’ve ever seen, smooth and intuitive. The image quality is excellent, and the recognition system works very well, providing accurate alerts without too many false notifications. One small area for improvement: since I live in a bungalow, a few of my cameras had to be mounted lower than usual. It would be great if AOSU could add some type of locking mechanism or security latch to make it harder for someone to remove or steal a camera once it’s installed.Overall, this 6-cam kit is a fantastic option for anyone looking for reliable, subscription-free home security. Highly recommended!

I would give a 5-star rating if wouldn’t be for one particular feature: the build-in solar panels for the model I bought.I have used the system for more than a month now and here below is my feedback.1. The App- very good and easy to use.2. Central unit/modem – very good, good signal on all sides of the house. I was a bit concerned with the coverage since my house has brick all the way around and is not small. So far I am satisfied. Do not block the unit with other larger objects. You might need to move the unit in few places and check the signal received from the cameras , once they are in their final location.3. The cameras (I have 4) are good quality, image is very good and all described functions working as expected. Rotating head works very well, end to end.I was concerned about the outdoor temperature since I live up North. I’ve tested them until -10 degree Celsius and have not noticed any service degradation.4. Build-in solar panels: in my opinion the panels are sub-dimensioned for the camera consumption. They are not directional (with my camera model) and when you combine that with the installation location, you probably will not have a perfect angle. The top priority is to install the cameras in the best possible position for monitoring and that does not necessary allows the best sun exposure. In my case, only the South side of the house provides excellent light exposure. For the other 3 sides, the built-in panels cannot keep up with consumption and needs the additional, adjustable, solar panels to help. Maybe in places like Nevada, Arizona, Texas, etc. you have more luck but is not my case.I recommend buying the model with larger, angle adjustable solar panels.5. Technical Support: I’ll give them a 5-star on this, very responsive and helpful. I initially had some installation problems and later the solar panels issue described above. They were supportive from day one and wanted me to have the best experience possible. I was dealing with the agent called Lynette but I guess any other one would be provide the same excellent service level. So, on summary, is a very good product but do not try to save some bucks on the solar panels if you are not located in the sunny South. They have many models, the bigger the solar panel + directional adjustable, the better for you and less problems.

I got these to install in my front and back yard for security purposes. Overall I am very happy with this product: it is of good build quality, the cameras are very responsive and offer decent visibility during day and night, has neat features like the alarm system and default view, and motion tracking works very well.I did run into some issues, some of which I was able to resolve:1) I noticed that the network connection in my front yard camera was not very strong (around 50%), probably because it was farther away from my router. Since I couldn’t move my router closer (it is connected by a short coaxial cable), I got a wifi range extender that has an ethernet port and plugged the camera’s homebase in it and brought it closer to the front yard camera. Signal was boosted to almost 80% and haven’t had any connection issues since2) charging with the solar panels was confusing; some days I would see the charging icon on the camera even when it was in shade or it was cloudy/rainy, and others I would not see any charging even if the camera is in direct sunlight. After contacting customer support, I put the cameras in direct sunlight and the charging icons appeared again and lasted through the day. I suspect that temperature plays a role in how well the solar panels start charging, but for now my plan is to charge cameras via a long USB cable from time to time, since winter is coming and there won’t be that many sunny days. Customer service were kind enough to send me extra solar panels, so I might try installing those as well and see if it helps. However, I noticed that the batteries don’t discharge very quickly (maybe lose 1 or 2 % a day, when camera is in the shade) so I think I won’t need to charge them very often.3) The multi-cam function in the app doesn’t work very well. Whenever I try it the app stalls and force quits after a minute. I notified customer service so hopefully they can fix this bug. But honestly it is not a crucial feature since I can easily and quickly view each feed individually without problem.Overall I am satisfied with this product after trying it out for 2 weeks. I hope it would continue to serve me well, and I feel comfortable knowing there is a great customer service to support me if anything goes wrong.

I purchased this two camera system after doing a significant amount of research. I had originally planned on buying a different brand, primarily because of brand recognition, but as I did more and more research I found a number of positive reviews on Aosu. Despite my reluctance to buying a product that wasn’t a household name to me, I went ahead and purchased the Aosu Solar Home Security System (2 camera kit) which also came with a Home Base (includes 32gb of storage) and I am very pleased with it. Some of the competitor products are more costly and the Homebase can be purchased separately. The kit arrived promptly and I charged both cameras with the provided usb cables (user needs to provide the charging block). It takes a couple of hours to fully charge. Downloading the app, install and setup of the cameras were all very easy, which is good news because the user manual needs improving.I had an issue charging one of the cameras. I contacted Aosu Support and they helped me determine that one of the supplied cables was defective – used the second cable and the unit charged perfectly. One both units were installed, I ran some tests to determine everything was working as expected. The cameras have an option to Set Default View (starting/return position for the camera). I setup the first camera Default View just fine, but when I went to do the same on the second camera, I didn’t see the Default View option. I contacted the Support Desk and Lynette got back to me promptly with a resolution (firmware upgrade), and asked me to provide feedback one the proposed solution was implemented. This resolved my issue.I had a few other fine tuning questions that I raised with Lynette via email. Once again responded promptly, gave me answers to my questions and addressed a concern I had about one of my cameras ability to charge due to it being in a somewhat shady area. Lynette provided me with a free supplementary solar panel that I could connect to the camera via an extension cable. In summary, there are more expensive security cameras, but I couldn’t be happier with my purchase for the quality of the product, ease of installation and the excellent after sales support I received from Lynette. At some point I may add a third camera.
