Perfect for summer time planting and easy to assemble!

Good planter design.
This is an attractive planter with the added asset of being made of solid wood. It will last much longer than it’s plastic counterparts. The stain job is a little on the light side, though. And I wasn’t too happy to learn that the pieces without a metal sleeve to receive the screws but just a hole, were drilled too large and the screws just slide through the hole instead of biting into the wood to hold the 2 pieces together. Ended up with glue and clamps to connect the pieces securely. Looks like the person drilling the holes drilled only the one size that held the metal sleeve but didn’t downsize for the pieces that didn’t have the metal sleeve. Just speculation. Perhaps the manufacturers can fix that small thing and save the consumer a little time and frustration.

Sturdy, easy enough to assemble, seems like it’ll do the job.
I was skeptical about the material at first, it felt too light, and the joints looked like they would provide too many weak points, but while assembling, I quickly found it to shore itself up into something that felt extremely solid, especially for the relatively small amount of weight it would bear during its service life.Assembly took almost exactly half an hour, and didn’t present much difficulty. In one step, the position of a wooden dowel and screw are switched, but the corresponding parts will only fit together in one fairly obvious way and it’s not a big deal; I wonder if the directions are old and they changed the positions for structural integrity? I included a picture of the relevant section of the manual and the actual part for reference. It’s not rocket surgery. The only other advice I would offer is to not tighten most of the screws all the way down until you’re holding the parts straight or level; this is especially important on the interlocking leg pieces or attaching the planter baskets themselves and the rear crossbrace. Just tighten everything until the screw heads are ALMOST making contact, shimmy the parts into position, and then tighten them one at a time; if you avoid this the planter might be slightly lopsided or wobbly on a hard surface.Absolutely satisfied with the purchase; I just wanted somewhere to grow some easy-to-access kitchen herbs on my porch so I didn’t have to trek down into the garden in the dark every time I wanted to season a dish.Bonus points: The wood actually smells amazing.

This planter stand is fantastic! It has a very modern look to it. It suites our entry way or porch perfectly! I’m worried about what the outdoor elements will do to this plant stand storing in outside so, I really only feel comfortable storing it on our covered porch where it won’t get rained on. The assembly was very easy and straight forward. It took me 15/20 minutes to fully assemble this plant stand. Once assembled it feels sturdy and durable. Each shelf holds a pretty good amount of small to medium sized plants. I ordered this because I thought it would be the perfect stand to grow my herbs and spice in. What’s exciting for me is that I can easily accent and decorate around this plant stand too to get a full garden look and feel on our cover porch or entry way. I am loving the functionality and look of this plant stand! It’s perfect for my needs and looks fantastic! I couldn’t be happier with this plant stand or recommend it more! It looks perfect with my herbs and spices planted in it. It would also look with this spring with freshly bloom springer flowers in it! I’m so happy with this plant stand! I can’t recommend this little plant stand enough!
