    Good device
Easy setup, runs my Adaptor valve and Tuya lightsSetup was simple, I plugged the hub into my router with the included cable, downloaded the app, and it was ready in minutes. I connected my Adaptor smart water shutoff valve along with a couple of Tuya Smart lights, and everything synced right away. The signal is strong and reliable across the house, and devices respond instantly. Just note, it only works with a 2.4 GHz router, so keep that in mind when setting it up. Build quality is solid and overall it makes managing my smart home a lot easier.

    Simple setup. Working perfect
Got this gateway to run a few Tuya Zigbee sensors and a smart valve. Setup was quick. Plugged it into my router with the LAN cable and powered it using the USB-C — both cables were in the box, which was nice. The design is small and clean, doesn’t take up much space.Paired fine with the app and even showed up in Apple Home. Signal range is decent, reaching all my sensors around the house. Only downside is the indicator light — not really clear what it’s showing. Also, the packaging inside looked a bit barebones, could’ve used some polish. But once everything’s connected, it just works.

This must be plugged into your router by ethernet cable in order to work!
I’m totally blind. This controller is round in shape. The USB C and Ethernet cable plug into the back of it. This controller is ery lite so really nothing to hold it in place. You cannot hang it on a wall being it doesn’t ahve any wall mount points. You can power this by any USB power brick. The Ethernet cable it comes with I would suggest not using. I couldn’t get it to stay in the hub so ended up using an old cable I had around the house with no issues with it staying in the hub.I got this in hope of using it with some Jinvoo power strips that another Zigbee controller wouldn’t allow anymore after the old Zigbee controller had to be reset. I kept getting an not Authorized error device not added. So I got this in hope of being able to add the power strips. Sorry to say! I had no luck. But that isn’t the falt of the controller. This controller MUST be connected directly to a ethernet port on your router. If you do not do that! You aren’t going to be able to use this controller at all. This must remain connected to your router by ethernet cable.Myself, I didn’t have really any issue getting this Zigbee gateway to connect using the TUYA Smart Life Android App from my Samsung Galaxy S23+. I just made sure the old hub was offline to ensure it would work as expected. After it was connected! I tried a few different times to bring online the old Jinvoo power strips with no luck because of the Not Authorized error. So for grins, I have some old Zigbee plugs that the other hub also didn’t like. So I tried one of them! Low and behold, the Zigbee plug worked. So I know the Wired Zigbee hub is working as expected. So I took the Wired Zigbee gateway up to my ethernet switch in the front of the house that has 4 open ports on it and plugged it in to that. Then I took the Zigbee plug to the back of the house to be able to control a device I wanted to be able to turn on and off that was initially on the Jinvoo power strip. The outlet worked as expected.I would say more than likely, if this continues to work; I’ll move the other Zigbee stuff off the wireless Zigbee hub to this one. After all, the other Zigbee hub doesn’t like being in a combined 2.4G/5G network with the same name. Had to set that one up on a 2.4G network so it would work correctly. If this continues to work! I can get rid of an 2.4G device and just have a wired device that will be more reliable. As far as that goes; I may also move off some old Zigbee outlets that are connected to an old Echo 2nd plus as well.I tried a Philips Hue Colored Light worked, Worked with a switch and an old Centrallite plug. Didn’t work correctly with an 3rd reallity contact sensor. It was problem mattic and Alexa wouldn’t even see it. The wall Switch I tried showed up as 4 devices. Switch 1 through 3 that really didn’t work correctly and the the full device that did work as expected. No idea on that why it showed up like that being it is just an single switch.I tried getting some more TUYA power strips and they behave the same as what I already have. Come to find out, they are the same brand as the old ones from 3 years ago and that brand has been blocked by TUYA. So be careful is you try to get some power strips to use with this hub! They’ll probably not work. Looks like all the ones I got from Amazon are truley the same brand just marketed by different recellers at different price points.

    Fixes the problems with sengled
This is a direct replacement for the sengled hub . It corrected the problems I had . I used the existing sengled lights and it set right up no problem. I would highly recommend if you were a sengled user.

    Will not connect.
I recently received this “Wired Tuya Zigbee 3.0 Hub – All-in-One Home Remote Controller for Tuya Smart Devices, Homebridge, Zigbee Gateway, Compatible with Apple HomeKit and Alexa/Google Assistant” and after 2 days and 3 nights of troubleshooting, I’ve given up on this device being part of my smart home. It simply won’t connect.I had really high hopes for this Zigbee hub and was really looking forward to adding this to my smart home. I wanted to “bridge” (no pun intended) the gap between devices using THIS technology with devices using THAT technology, and from everything I’ve learned in the past few years on the subject, Zigbee and Matter are the way(s) to go. When I saw this device, I thought, “Great! An affordable solution that will make these stragglers get on board!” The device arrived quickly and was neatly packaged, but I’m afraid that’s where the happy parts of my story come to an end.I unboxed everything, laid out the components, and looked over the instruction handout. The instructions, by the way, are in a terrible format and need to be reworked for user-friendliness. It’s a single sheet, folded into squares, but in such a way that as you unfold it, you don’t get the instructions you need. To see the actual sequence, unfold the instructions completely. Then read left to right, top to bottom. They fold out so that you read top to bottom, but since they aren’t numbered, it’s just confusing. From the looks of things, setup was going to be so simple, so fast! Unfortunately, it was all an illusion. The device does NOT get seen by HOME, cannot be added manually in Smart Life, and TUYA doesn’t seem to know it exists at all.I tried every troubleshooting step I know. I restarted. I shut down. I hard-reset. I did everything, but the device just doesn’t get seen. Maybe mine is an anomalous exception to the rule and is just defective, but I could find zero indications that anything was wrong (aside from the device never being seen by anything that should be able to see it). My first attempt was Friday, within minutes of delivery, and after 90 minutes of frustrated troubleshooting, I gave up and resolved reattempting with a clearer head on Saturday morning. Saturday morning’s adventure lasted nearly the same length of time, but instead of ending in frustration and going to bed, I got to begin a day full of homeowner-related adulting, and we all love starting that from a frustrated point, mentally-speaking, right? I didn’t want to give up though, and tried again on Saturday evening. No luck. And Sunday’s misadventures were an eerie repeat of Saturday’s. And that’s when I gave up.I’d love to recommend this product, but since I can’t tell that it does anything at all, I really cannot.

    Small and Simple
The connection was easy to establish. What surprised me about this little guy is exactly how little he is. It’s tiny! Kind of makes it all the more impressive, in my opinion.
