Impressive!
Great device. No issues installing.

Conceptually a good idea. Works well with smaller easy to raise blinds. Big blinds not so much.
Works but struggles with my large blinds. One of them it cannot move. I beleive the RYSE motor is stronger but 30% more expensive – I wish I had gone that route.

Exactly what I needed — works with my existing blinds!
I don’t normally write reviews, but this little device deserves it. I’ve been wanting smart blinds for a while but didn’t want to replace my existing roller shades since I am renting and my landlord won’t do it.So far I’m super impressed with this smart shade motor. Installation was unbelievably simple if you follow their instructions step-by-step. Don’t try to figure it out yourself because things I thought would be intuitive, the steps told me to do it a different way than what I would have thought. But by following the instructions, it literally took me one minute to install and another few minutes to set up the pairing/calibration.The motor is surprisingly quiet and opens/closes my shades very smoothly. I set schedules and now my shade just opens automatically in the morning so one less chore to deal with. I also have it connected to Alexa and use voice commands to control the shade – so far so good! No complaints, especially at this price point!

Don’t recommend if you have multiple blinds
Works but not how I was hoping it would. I tried these bc they’re were cheaper than competitive brands but In hindsight I probably should have went with the more expensive ones for what I was needing them for.Installation instructions need improvement. It only tells you how to physically install the device then you have to guess to actually set it up to work. Some of the parts in the box aren’t mentioned at all so hope this helps- for cordless option you need to plug up the usb drive looking thing into a power source close to the main unit. Download the app, then hold the small button on the bottom of the main unit until it blinks blue to sync with your phone. It’s not super precise. There’s about a 5%-10% margin on the open and close positions so sometimes my blinds will be a bit short of touching the ground and sometimes it will go too far creating slack in the blinds and pool at the ground. Because of this, if you have two blinds next to each other that you were hoping to pair so they open and close at the same time this will really annoy you bc they will never be even.Lastly, the app glitches pretty often. I’ll hit the open button and nothing happens. So I have to press other random buttons and then press the open button again for it to actually open.So if you’re purchasing this for one single blind and just want something simple that will open and close it with your phone after pressing a couple of buttons then I think it’s ok.If you have multiple you want to pair I wouldn’t recommend.

Very impressed that this works with verticle blinds
This smart blind controller is a game changer. This was one of the last things I had to do to fully enable my home as a smart home.It was easy to install. I actually connected this to my vertical blinds. I was afraid it wouldn’t work after reading some reviews. I’m so glad I didn’t listen.I had to trim my chain a little. It was just too long in my opinion. And the connector kept getting caught in the wheel. So I trimmed it where it wouldn’t come close to the wheel while operating the blinds. The wheel that was already inserted worked for me.Once that was connected, I moved on to programming the remote to the start and stop settings. This was a bit challenging for me. My controllers were on the left. But I wanted it to open from the right. Up was down. Down was up. Open was close. Close was open. I worked it out. They now operate how I want them to.Then it was time to connect to the app. This gave me a little trouble. But it turns out, I had to use the doggle. It connected right away. I was able to link it to Alexa. It was on then. I added it to my nightly routine that prepared my home for bed. I’m so impressed with this device. It works with any chain controller. Be sure to scan the qr code for the instructions.

Great for the busy working adults!
If you don’t have a straight up and down mount, the chain makes a horrible noise (scraping the sides of the cover). Other than that, its an amazing device! I love it!
