World’s Longest Wireless Range: Powered by LoRa technology, the long-range yet low-power system offers the industry’s longest receiving range in the market (1/4 mile). Our long-range coverage enables its use in areas challenging for most residential Wi-Fi systems, such as basements, outdoor porch/patio areas, sheds, free-standing garages, even remote outbuildings on your property.
Universal: Easy-to-add functionality to upgrade your existing garage door opener. Compatible with door openers manufactured after 1993 that utilize photoelectric sensors; Please check compatibility at the description before purchase
Low-Power Means Longer Battery Life: Because of the low power consumption, YoLink Garage Door Sensor’s batteries may last 5 years or more (depending on application and device usage/activity), on standard AAA Alkaline batteries (lithium batteries not required)!
Early-Warning Notifications: Receive real-time early-warning notifications in the form of smartphone banner alerts, limited SMS/text messages, and emails, each optional and configured per your needs. Please note: YoLink Garage Door Sensor does not alarm or chime, it only sends notifications; For an audible alarm, consider our Siren Alarm
Doesn’t Work without YoLink Hub: YoLink Hub is the only central controller for YoLink devices, and it connects YoLink devices into the internet and the cloud. Without YoLink Hub, this garage door kit does not work with YoLink app and does not support 3rd-party integration with Alexa, Google Home and IFTTT. Please search B07TQLKQLJ for the hub or try our Garage Door kit with Hub B07W64LMKC

UNDERSTANDING TECHNOLOGY, THIS IS THE BEST, IF YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND TECH, STAY AWAY FROM THIS
Have a Chamberlain overhead motor, I think this is one of the worse brand. In today’s so advance and ever changing technologies, Chamberlain created their overhead motor to not integrate with anything else in technology other than their own brands.I use the MyQ but based on where technology is now, MyQ is outdated because I have to physically open my phone or tablet to access the app to open or close the garage door. NO NO NO, this is the age of voice commands.ALEXA taught us that, BEST AI ever.Anyways with the continuous researches I was hell-bent that I need to work my garage door with voice commands, I discovered an app called (SIMPLE COMMANDS) this app should be tied in with one that is called (Kloee SC) then integrate into your MyQ account and then linked with Alexa (works great for the better part of two years) Chamberlain with the quest of wanting to sell just their brand blocked (simple commands and kloee sc from the integration of MyQ.so someone else developed an app called (livekey) that was used to override simple commands, Chamberlain blocked that also.So I am back to either using the garage door remotes, the MyQ app or the wall mounted garage door switch.Hence, I started my researches again and this is when I came across this GENIUS IDEA (YOLINK)This think works like a charm.Setting up the hub along with the devices is less than basic, so if you have been figiting around tech for awhile, setting up the hub is no big deal. However, if you decided that you are purchasing this item to integrate it to Alexa and you are not fully technologically incline, stay away from this device because this integration with Alexa is no where near a walk in the park.Number one, you have to have what it takes to go deep in the Yolink app and master all the necessaries that needs to be tied in so that you can integrate it to Alexa.I got mine to work and trust me, the whole figuring out the app and the setup can not be explained, you just have to be tech savvy wherein you know what, how and why, keep on executing and eliminating and scratching your head until you get it.To prove my point, there is no where in the manual whether the ones that comes with the product as a guide or the ones online that gives you any full information or details about integrating this thing with the AI’s,They made mention of it, but absolutely no full instruction as how you are able to integrate this thing with Alexa or Google home.So if you are thinking to purchase to just use it on your phone to activate your garage door, great. However if your main aim is to tie it in with Alexa and or google home to have the voice command. It can be done because I have done it and I am very happy with it.However, I will say this again, if you are not tech savvy, don’t think of the voice command with Alexa and if you try and it does not work, do not call the product inferior or crappy because it is not. It is a very very very great product. The only draw back is that it is very very very difficult to integrate with an AI.So in the end if you figure it out and you get it to work with anyone of the AI’s, you will realize, this is what you have been looking for all along.

Great for special use case garage door scheduling
Works to automate a shop or garage door partial opening and closing on a schedule. I can have it open the garage door, pause for 1 second, and then stop the garage door, thus opening the door about 3 inches at a preset time to let the cat out, or let in cool air, and then have it close again a little while later. I can even program in a check at the end to close it again a few minutes later if it fails to close the first time for some reason.Install took me 15 minutes, and programing the garage door to do as described above took 5 to program and 30 to test and adjust to my liking, and then write a quick review to let you know how great this Yolink device is.Definitely pair it with the sensor so you can use the door open/closed variable in your automation. If you don’t see the garage door opener under automation then go to advanced settings and enable “Control of security devices”

Very good product and Great product support team!
I’m a 63 year old grandma so I don’t want to go up the ladder and install this on the garage motor up there, so I ended up setting up right next to my wall opener. Installation is straight forward and activation was a breeze. But after a couple of days of use my garage door won’t close all the way. Ask my brother to check on the garage rails and some clean up happening. It’s opening but again not closing all the way down leaving a 2 inches of gap. Customer support team was very responsive and sent me another unit. Again it worked initially but after a day not closing again. So I was forced to get up and install the unit up the motor itself. Same thing happening not closing properly, I even adjusted the limit and force adjustment but to no avail. I ask the customer support if they can exchange it with the Finger opener and they gladly sent it to me. Finger opener works seamlessly. I believed there’s something not right with my garage motor and rails.Very thankful to the Yolink customer/product support team who really help me out to make this work outI have several yolink products like yolink hub, water leak sensor, temperature/humidity sensor(4 pcs), smart plug and lately the garage sensor. I definitely recommend Yolink products.

    great value, and it works!
Installed this in our new old house. It works fine, seems to connect fine. Nice to be able to control the garage door from the phone. I basically just paralleled the controller with the door buttons and it worked. Added a sensor, and it connected to that to feed back the door position to the app so that it knows whether the door is open or closed. Quite easy to use compared to some of the Zwave stuff I have used before. The one issue I have is that it does not work with scenes and the fob. It just doesn’t appear in the list of things that can be controlled by either of these.

Works well with my old school garage door opener
My garage door opener is at least 20 years old. It still works so I don’t want to spend the money to replace the whole unit just so I can make it “smart.” A coworker mentioned having one of these devices and liking it so I decided to give it a try.Set-up and installation were a breeze! I had everything up and running in under 20 minutes and that includes following the directions closely. Value wise, you really can’t beat it.I’m good about waiting until the garage door completely closes before I pull out of the driveway, but I’ve come home and forgotten to close the garage door behind me. I get distracted or piddle around then head inside without hitting the button. I can quickly glance at the app and verify whether the door is open or closed for peace of mind. If you’re away from the house and find that the garage door has been left open, you can close it remotely from the app.Its handy, adds a layer of safety and makes life more convenient.

I recently installed this retrofit garage door opener, and it’s been a game-changer! The setup process was surprisingly easy, even for someone like me with limited experience in DIY projects. The instructions were clear, and the kit included everything I needed to get it up and running without extra trips to the hardware store. One of the best parts is the smartphone app integration. Now, I can control the door from my phone, which is incredibly convenient. I never have to worry about forgetting to close the door, as I can check the status remotely and even receive alerts. The door operates smoothly and quietly, and the opener is compatible with my existing setup, so I didn’t need to replace the whole system.Overall, this retrofit opener adds a lot of functionality to my garage door without the cost and hassle of a full replacement. It’s reliable, user-friendly, and has added some peace of mind knowing I can control the door from anywhere. Highly recommended for anyone looking to add smart features to their garage!
