Great price, solid piece!
I put this together myself. It was doable— obviously would have gone quicker with two people, but if you’re handy, can read and follow along with instructions it’s easy enough to do. We were looking for a decently priced piece for our finished basement and this is a great TV stand. We love the look of the sliding doors. All the pieces fit into place well, the pieces were labeled correctly, and the instructions dictated which pieces you needed for each step. The stand can hold a lot of stuff on the shelves and we like that there’s the hole in the back for the cords to go in if you had a bunch of cables.

Nice unit
Unit arrived fast, unit needs 100% assembled , unit is heavy . directions had some questionable areas as they all do. Directions are 90% clear . Tool for assy is included but have a hammer and a philllips screw driver ready . Ive built dozens of furniture over the yrs and would rate assy as intermediate . Unit is sturdy . I would recommend using elmers glue on the wood pegs . The firebox is already assembled just needs mounting brackets put on and it slides in easy from the back. Fire has a nice Rich looking flame . We dont plan on using the heat mode so have no idea how well it heats because the efficiency is too low on these types of heaters . They are like using a hair dryer to heat with .

Easy to put together. Very sturdy and looks expensive. Doors open towards the middle or to the outside so several ways to accessorize.

Decent Fireplace TV stand for the money.
For the money I’m happy with the TV stand and fireplace. The manufacturer DOES need to address better packing to reduce the damaged part complaints. I thought the instructions were pretty straight forward and easy to interpret. Keys to my smooth assembly were:-I actually READ the instructions/directions for both boxes from start to finish. I HATE doing that but I’ve learned over the years it WILL save you a lot of time and headaches.-I INVENTORIED every piece enclosed in the boxes and laid them out in numerical or alphabetical order to start. This especially included the hardware box. I COUNTED every item in every bag of that hardware box and also laid them out in order.The majority of negative comments I read (that were helpful) were due to not inventorying and/or not reading, understanding or misinterpreting the instructions. Damage complaints are a different story. The funny thing is that the TV stand INSTRUCTIONS actually advise you do that right at the beginning of the instructions.I also had damage but I was fortunate. It wasn’t so excessive I needed to return anything or caused me to give a 1 or 2 start review. My damage: Mildew on the small back panels, minor damage to several of the wood part edges. Nothing that ultimately was going to be visible so I was fine with that. I have realistic expectations of minor shipping damage and have “wood markers” to touch up spots that needed it. Regular marker can work fine too (i.e. I used a black marker to on the 3 shiny galvanized screws used to attach the sliding door rail bar.)I suggest using 2 people that is a recommendation by the manufacturer if you’ve never assembled something this heavy or with a bunch of parts on your own. It will definitely speed up your assembly time.I assembled my entire fireplace TV stand and it took me right at 4 hours taking my time. It looks good, it’s pretty sturdy and the fireplace works great in my 200 square foot den. My wife is hard to get a positive comment out of but she likes it.
