We love Philips Hue! My wife and I are in our early sixties, and there’s nothing quite like being able to remotely turn on or off any Philips Hue bulb from bed if we forget. We also appreciate the ambiance that the Hue bulbs and other products bring to our home, especially when we have parties or guests over. We receive lots of compliments on the lighting. I have been using Philips Hue bulbs since shortly after they were released, and I’ve had nothing but good luck and reliability with them. We have Philips Hue bulbs in well over ninty percent of all our lighting, so you can bet that Hue is a real winner.

Seamless Connectivity
Quickly paired with our Hue bridge. Emits great color and fills our hallway with light. No issues with heat when used in an enclosed clear glass wall sconce. While priced high, Hue products are above all in their functionality and quality.

Perfect for a plug-in light w/no switch
I have a small chandelier in my closet that plugs into the wall but it has no switch, only way to turn it on was to plug it in or to turn off had to disconnect it every time. Did some research on smart bulbs but finding the right size was difficult until I found these.Love that you can turn it on/off with the app, easily brighten or dim as you please, or switch between warm and cool colored light. The flicker setting isn’t for me in this particular room but it could look super nice in a vintage inspired living or dining room to mimic flickering candles.Definitely plan to use more of these for a vintage chandelier that needs multiple of this size bulb. That light has the same issue that it plugs into a wall to power on but has no on/off switch to manage it.

This did not work for me. We have a smart home per say and we would not get this bulbs to connect.

Added these to my Apple/Hue Home.Nota Bene: Initially had some issues with flickering at lower levels. Replaced my non-smart dimmer light switch with a basic switch and the bulbs got brighter at 100% and flickering issues were completely solved.

Love Hue, but these are too tall
We have over 30 hue bulbs throughout our home and just love them. These, however, are too tall. They stick up above our glass fixture.
