Great for replacing Sonos house speakers
I was looking for a Sonos replacement. I had seen reviews about low quality of sound that had me hesitant about the google speakers. I was between Google and Bluesound. I already had a google nest in my home so I chose google speakers and couldn’t be happier. The sound quality rivals my old Sonos, but the ease of connectivity makes these google speakers an improvement over the Sonos ones. The Google home app makes it so simple to connect and group multiple speakers. The speakers themselves plug into outlets so now I don’t have to worry about charging ahead of time. I’m not picky about the overall sound, I just want decent speakers playing around my home and these pass the test. If you’re looking to replace Sonos speakers around the home the google nest audio speakers can do the job.

PLEASE DON’T – if you plan on integrating these to your Google Nest hub.
The connectivity issues you’ll face during the current migration to the new Gemini ecosystem have disrupted most synchronization between the Google ecosystem and its own products. I wish I had seen a disclaimer or read other reviews besides the ones on Amazon before I spent the money buying these. On the bright side, the speakers have good sound quality and a strong bass for their size, but if you grade them on their “Smart” capabilities, you’re probably going to return them. They will periodically lose internet connection. You can try to use their ‘pair’ functionality for 2 of them, but it’s extremely glitchy and rarely syncs together. Google is forcing all users to migrate to the new Gemini ecosystem by April 2026, regardless of whether you want to or not.Either just buy other Smart speakers or wait at least until April 2026 to see if Google actually does what the say they are doing. Please don’t make the mistake I did: don’t rely on Amazon’s site to learn what other users are saying on Reddit. Save yourself some heartache and God Bless You.

Worthwhile
Very convenient and is now part of my daily ritual. Wish the sound quality was better though.

It doesn’t work as hyped. Worst ever product ever purchased.
Worst product ever purchased hereAfter 5 hours of absolute frustration trying to connect multiple nest speakers individually and into the substandard grouping I gave up. The hype of connectivity, of mirroring your tablet to speakers, the inside joke about “ok google” and the “we can’t do that” was just too much. I watched many fairly pointless YouTube help videos even though all I supposedly needed was Google home. What a sad exercise in over hyped claims coupled with absolute dissatisfaction and frustration.I want them gone now. Worst ever dissatisfaction with a product line ever!
