I recently bought the Fox Valley Traders porch goose, and I couldn’t be happier with it! The quality is excellent, and it has such a charming, nostalgic look that immediately brings a smile to your face. I originally got it for myself, but my daughter loved it so much that she took it with her to college—and now it’s proudly on display in her dorm hallway! It’s been a hit with her roommates and neighbors, and they’ve even started dressing it up for holidays and special occasions.This porch goose has added a fun, whimsical touch to both our homes. Good Purchase Overall
I was originally gonna buy this from their website directly, but the shipping was a little high and a little slower than expected – so I decided to purchase on Amazon. Love the item, a big hit for a birthday gift. This is adorable, durable plastic. It is as expected from the TikTok videos I’ve seen. The only thing I’d say is I wish the Amazon prices match the website direct prices because it is cheaper on the website.

This goose is too cute, good quality. Lighter than I thought it would be, but there is an option to weigh it down. Fits perfectly on my desk. The goose stays just fine and doesn’t fall over when bumped. The details are great and definitely bring back the nostalgia of grandmas porch goose.

Shipped quick. Was packaged nice. Got this as a gift for a friend. It was bigger than expected. Appears to be a good quality item. Very light weight so we will need to add the sand to keep it in place. But overall looks exactly as pictured and is so cute!

Cute Addition to My Porch
I have seen these porch geese on Amazon and my niece has one. I like the size 23″. I put pea gravel in the base of the goose to give it stability. I have ordered a number of outfits for different seasons. While a bit expensive for all plastic, it is well made. I hope to have “Hilda” for many years sitting on my porch. It was shipped promptly by this company and well packed. If you need a little “something” for your porch, a “cousin of Hilda’s” is the way to go!

Whimsical Decor
I love my whimsical porch goose and dress it for each season. Clothes are sold separately (Tip: Put clothes you like in your cart and wait for a price drop before buying). The only hesitation I have is that you must buy sand for the base. Sand sold separately. You only need a small amount of sand (less than 1 pound) in the base. Too much sand will cause the excess sand to leak out from under the tail. (My grandkids got a kick out of that! thinking the goose was going potty) Without sand, the goose doesn’t stay up well when placed outside on the porch. Other than that, the goose is absolutely adorable, and I enjoy changing the outfits to fit the seasons. My goose has been up since the spring and has not faded or become damaged by the sun, wind, or rain.

Quality 23 inch plastic porch goose
This porch goose feels quality plastic. It is the larger 23 inch size and has nice detailing both made into the plastic for the wings and feet shape and painting on the feet and bill area. It has an opening in the bottom to fill for weight. The bottom is marked with the Gaggleville logo. This one does not come with the “certificate of birth”. The bill on mine is somehow slightly off but you really have to look at it to see it and it fits my personality so I wanted to keep it as a little quirky. It is just really ever so slightly tilted and I do stress slightly to where most people will never notice. I love being able to dress her up and she’s exactly what I wanted and am very happy with my purchase.

Exactly as described. I had heard so many stories about people ordering geese online and being sent tiny geese instead of the full-sized geese advertised, so I was super excited when my goose arrived. It is the advertised size (23 inches) and brand (Gaggleville). I could not be happier!

I purchased this as a gift for a friend who has always wanted a porch goose. While it isn’t the pricey cement version, I find this version much easier to transport! There is a hole on the base to fill the goose with sand & you can control how heavy you want it. We found a small seam leaking some sand, but a small touch of super glue fixed it. Gift was a hit and it has been well dressed since!

Not sure why it was so expensive, but it does look nice. We drilled the bottom out of ours, and installed a light…so it lights up….looks great 🙂
