Installation
1. Drill two holes on the wall and install the expansion tube into the holes.
2. Align the wall plate with the the thermostat panel.
3. Screws through the expansion tube to fix the wall plate and the thermostat panel.
4. Put the thermostat on the panel of the thermostat.
Please Note: Your ecobee smart thermostat will came with an original wall plate. Unlike the original equipped bracket, our gorgeous decorative Ecobee Smart Thermostat Premium/ Enhanced wall plate with elegant matte surface perfectly creates a modern and stylish look, covers up the previous hole or mark.
Designed exclusively for 2022 Ecobee Smart Thermostat Premium and 2022 Ecobee Smart Thermostat Enhanced. It will not fit any other Ecobee Thermostat. Please check your Thermostat model firstly before purchasing it.
Installation can be finished in a few minutes. No need to paint or do any remodeling work to install the wall plate for your 2022 Ecobee smart thermostat.

Subtle upgrade that hides imperfections and elevates the look
I installed the CaseBot wall plate behind my recently mounted Ecobee Smart Thermostat Premium and was immediately pleased with how clean and finished the wall now appears. The matte surface provides a refined touch that blends well on a white or light-colored wall, covering old screw holes and minor damage without needing paint or patching. The polycarbonate build felt sturdy during installation and didn’t flex or crack when tightened.Installation took just a few minutes. We had an old builder grade thermostat which did not go with our smart home aesthetic.This Ecobee thermostat gives value for money and overall looks great!I recommend getting someone to assist with installation but you can do it yourself if you are a DIYer.With the app, it is easy to use and set up scheduling.*I did not use the wall plate it came with. I had purchased a separate one from a third party to elevate the look I was going for (as seen in the picture).Overall, I recommend this if you want quality, functionality and durability without breaking the bank.

This large, clean, matte plate swoops in to cover all that mess instantly. It gives you that polished, professional look without having to touch up paint or do any repairs. It snaps on easily and gets the job done. It’s the simple, required accessory for a perfect finish.

I purchased this brand because I was not satisfied with the Googly brand… Luckily, this one is MADE IN CANADA instead something weird from the south (USA). The package and the design of it is outstanding. Holding the thermostat in your hand before installation you will have the feeling: this one is well made, it is sturdy, it will last long. The installation process was easy for me – but you will need some DIY skills with some tools to get the job done. It takes approx. 1 hr from open the box to have the thermostat on the wall and the app set up on your smartphone. It is easy to setup an account and to navigate thru the installation steps. The ECOBEE application is user friendly, the device works seamlessly since Day #1, I had ZERO problems in the last few months. High quality product & service from Canada to Canadians. Highly recommended!!

Should have bought this so many years ago didn’t know what I was waiting for. My house had a thermostat from the late 80s and wanted to change that ugly thing but was being told becareful because it might not work with the new technology but they were wrong. It works with my old furnace just had to go downstairs and install the adapter which was pretty easy. Everything works both cold and hot and now i can control it from anywhere. There’s a video from ecobee on YouTube showing how to install.

Excellent wall plate. Was a bit hesitant at first. But it makes the Ecobee, with its black and silver aesthetics, to really stand out. Makes the whole setup look very classy. Only downside is that the wall plate material takes smudges easily. After I installed it, drywall dust stuck to it easily. But nothing a wet cloth couldn’t clean up. I recommend it.
